Where to start, I am completely unsatisfied with this fridge. For one they cannot get the handles and the door to match up no matter how much adjusting is done. Second, it drips water every time we use the spicket and also drops ice out at random. Then there is the door creak, we've had it serviced twice for the same reason and it continues to make the creak every single time you open the door. We will not be purchasing any Whirlpool products in the future for these reasons. This is what a $1,000 gets you.

I bought this refrigerator in Jan 2020 and four years later, it quit cooling on both the freezer and fridge side. I called Best Buy, Whirlpool and their authorized repair agent in Southern California, and I got no responses from them even when this fridge is covered under 5 year federal warranty. I was told that the compressor is out and need to be replaced and got a repair quote for $1000+ . All I get is a runaround and it is incredibly frustrating not to have a fridge during California summer. This is the worst Whirlpool product I ever bought. Can anyone from Whirlpool contact me and let me know what to do with this worthless junk in my kitchen?

I bought the whirlpool side by side refrigerator July of 2021 Model: WRS325SDHZ. I received it October of 2021. The first one had a huge dent in the front so they re- ordered. The second one was also damaged so they reordered. The third one was fine but had issues with the ice maker immediately. They sent a service tech out to fix the problem. September of 2023 the unit stopped working completely. I called whirlpool even though the initial year warranty was out and they said depending on what was wrong it could be covered under the extended warranty. I paid $125.00 for the service technician to come out. He said the compressor was broken which was covered but the circuit board was also out which wasn't covered because it was likely caused by a power surge. He said it would be approx.$800.00 to replace the circuit board. There were no storms or power outages in my area at this time and nothing else in the house has been affected. I initially bought whirlpool because I felt it is a trusted name but I am very disappointed by the product I received.

I didn't know the fridge only had three years extended warranty on it. It broke down right on the third year. It was fine all three years. Extended warranty is highly suggested.

Do not be fooled by other reviews. This is a lemon. We have had it for 10 months and it has never worked. Whirlpool has sent 4 repair techs over and each time they say it’s fixed, it breaks again. Their warranty is a joke.

Not worth the expense. Food in the refrigerator constantly freezes and ice maker has broken into pieces 4 times now. Been utterly unusable since it was purchased. Customer service, though competant and friendly, completely unable or unwilling to fix the problems. Overly disappointed with this purchase.

Beware if you're expecting to receive delivery of this appliance (and perhaps any other) in New York City. It's a six hour delivery window, which is not ideal, but so be it. In my particular case, the delivery team missed the delivery window, which happens, but there were no attempts made to communicate timing and the online agents were helpless in trying to locate the delivery team to get an update on status. A second delivery was scheduled for 48 hours later, which also failed - incredibly surprising.
In fairness, I ultimately cancelled the order and don't have anything credible to comment on regarding the quality of the actual product. However, I've never had a more unprofessional purchasing experience. I will never shop with Best Buy ever again and from this point on will seek to conduct business with Best Buy's direct competitors despite whether the price Best Buy is offering is more competitive.

This frig is so loud it’s rediculous! It constantly has something going on to continue to sound like an MRI machine. I only replaced my appliances to update the look, however my white refrigerator of 15 years never made a peep! Worst purchase ever! Oh and by the way the appliances came with roaches in the boxes and the delivery and install was a nightmare!

Nice finish nice size but the auto-defrost quit working 11 months after purchase. Now my fridge has stopped cooling. Frost and ice have accumulated on the back freezer wall stopping the water flow to the icemaker. Had to call the warranty repairman to fix it but we've been waiting on parts for two weeks. Good thing I kept my old GE fridge or I wouldn't have a place to put my food.

This fridge has ruined my life. I hate it so much. The hinge mechanism in the door has a design flaw and every time you use the fridge, the doors will either bang into your arm or bang into the counter and shake everything in the door. It's a fight either way. The service people have been to my house twice and told me about the faulty hinge design of this model. I've tried multiple hacks online to mitigate it, but nothing works. I spent so much money on this fridge and the extra warranty and it makes me sick that I have to keep it for years to come. I am not the kind of person to complain. But every time I use the fridge and freezer, it annoys me beyond belief. You really have to use one hand to secure the door, while you struggle to use one hand to get the food out. Do not buy this fridge!

I love the refrigerator I am very disappointed in the black stainless steel. It scratches and dents very easily. We scratched it in the first week and the plastic coating they put on it is impossible to get off and 4 months later I still have it on in spots. So much for my beautiful new kitchen appliances. No way they should charge extra!

Big mistake. The control panel doesn't work day one. Position of the ice Despenser paddle and the water dispenser paddle are right in front of each other. Who thought of this bad design? Defect. Return.

It will be the temperature of the water line. We would recommend making sure the ice is not getting stuck in the ice chute. If you are experiencing water dripping from the dispenser please make sure you have cleared any air from the water line by purging the water line, after the water filter is replaced. I have had a service tech here 3 times to repair this unit. It keeps freezing up the coils. The first attempt at repair was to reposition a sensor with foil tape. The next attempt was ordering a new sensor or resistor for the defrost cycle. The tech had to come back out due to ordering the part. Now here it is just a few weeks later and it's frozen up again! Whirlpool needs to replace this unit. I can't keep having food spoiling. Not once has Whirlpool stepped up to compensate me for the loss of our groceries.

Don't bother buying, literally 1 month after the warranty expires the whole system stopped working, because of seal system problem. Barely 5 years old, not worth your money

I own a similar Whirlpool refrigerator. Whirlpool used to be a top brand. Sadly they are making the worst cheap garbage now. Within a year the doors rusted. The replaced them but the new ones have rusted too. The drawers shattered. They replaced them too and they shattered again. A hole in the inner side opened up, I have no idea how it happened. The unit is out of warranty so they did not fix the problems when they occurred a second time. Then the drain for the defroster clogs and it puts a pool of water on the floor. I have to take the back off of it and unplug it every 2 or 3 months. A refrigerator should last 20 years, not 2. Any other refrigerator has to be better than this piece of trash.

Water dispenser is the slowesr ive ever used. We dont bother with its that slow! Fingerprint resistant stainless steel.. not even close ( one of the worst features)!
