Nice fridge... wish the ice maker was in the door so there was more room

We have 7 people in our home and the fridge is spacious enough for everyone’s items, it also has plenty of shelves to keep everything organized.

We build approximately 8 houses each year and have had great success with Whirlpool appliances.

This unit looks good, works good, got it at a great price and I love the financing. It also matches well with my existing Whirlpool appliances.

Well this was my first go at buying a full whirlpool set and first time buying anything major from Best Buy in a while and it has been a very negative experience from both fronts. The appliance set was purchased for my parents and the first refrigerator arrived with smashed/compressed doors which the delivery men took back the same day. The second won't maintain a proper temperature and therefore won't make ice. The lack of ice was the first tip which which caused my parents to call best buy customer service (my mom was looking forward to the ice maker as their old fridge's ice maker broke a few years ago). Best Buy's customer service didn't resolve the issue in a timely fashion and only after 15 days said it couldn't be returned and to talk to the manufacturer(even though my parents called multiple times before the 15 days was up). A third party repair shop says it arrived with a bad compressor and due to covid they are on backorder. The refrigerator was delivered on Apr 7 so my parents have now had a nonfunctioning fridge for almost 2 months.

Overall a very good fridge and we love it but it is pretty loud.

Great sized refrigerator for a big family. Plenty of room for all your refrigerator needs. Love the large sized ice cubes.

Large cubic foot refrigerator with ice maker. Makes lots of ice when needed and keeps the grocery nice and cold. I like the adjustable shelves and pull out.

Missing a shelf. The delivery /installer had me on the phone with Whirlpool on the same day and shipped another shelf to me!

Im glad I went with this model. It isnt noisy and has enough storage space in both fridge and freezer. Looks great in my kitchen too. Doesnt fingerprint either.

We love this fridge. We got a good deal on it and have been very happy. Once the waterline was hooked up it made it much better and easier.

We had to order this model as it was one of the few available ones for the same week delivery. The fridge is noisy and every 30 minutes or so a valve opens and makes loud running noise for a few minutes. As some other reviewers' pictures show the door hinges are exposed. The filtered water flows in a trickle, taking 4-5 minutes to fill up a coffee pot. It's hard to believe such a commodity can come with so many obvious design flaws. The fridge also came with a small dent on the side, for which we were offered a gift card. The delivery and installation crew was on time and excellent in explaining things to us!

I've returned this unit because it was way too noisy. I have not heard a fridge this loud for a long time. For the unit that actually looks great and solid quality, it had enough no's for me to return the unit. Loud noise, poor instruction manual that did not explain why there was a long water line inside fridge completely exposed, not much of care in the back construction (paper/cardboard like material to cover up the back...real cheap feel), etc... I understand this is not the top end of their products, but for similar priced unit, samsung did a whole lot better. Sorry, but I cannot recommend this unit.
