I ordered the humidifier because it could be shipped and I wouldn't have to drive 35 miles to pick it up, however it is not as good as the frigidaire that I purchased last year. It is noisy and have had to move it to an area that the noise would not be an issue. The price was right and for that I would rate it as average but not in performance.

I shopped around because my dehumidifier went out. Best buy had the best price on the capacity I needed. Works great.

Best buy had an excellent price for the unit . Delivery quick When pulling out the bin to dump the water and put the bin back, a little difficult to slide it back in .

When the dehumidifier is running it is very noisy. The noise is the vibrating water collection device. It vibrates and the only solution that I could find was to wrap a bungie cord around it to hold it tightly in place. This worked for the first several days, but now it is getting noisier again.

Highly recomend this unit. One year in use so far; keeps high value area dry and comfortable.

I have the 70 pint model but would assume the 50 pint would perform the same since the parts are the same. This is the quietest brand I've ever owned and dried my 1,500 sqft basement within 24 hrs and is now cycling on-off perfectly. The warranty is much better than most brands and when on sale is likely less than others. Stay AWAY from Haier brand, which I had owned, lasted less than 2-years with a 1-year warranty. I use the direct hose drain feature instead of removing the water bucket and works like it should. 6-months of operation without any problems!
