This unit did a good job removing moisture from our basement however the unit is designed to never shut off. A fan was running even when the desired humidity level was met. Not what I was looking for in a dehumidifier. I returned it.

Glad I bought the 2 year protection plan. I bought this in July, 2024 and it was dead by November, didn't even last 6 months. I knew they don't make them like they used to, and I was right. Best Buy is sending me a new unit, this time I bought a 4 year protection plan, just in case.

The first unit I bought stopped working within a few months of purchase. Fortunately I had purchased an extended warranty and BestBuy replaced it with a new one. Unfortunately, the new one lasted less than a year. Whirlpool customer support was useless in diagnosing the issue.

Terrible stopped working after a month. Best Buy did not and would not help I am dealing with the manufacturer to replace it.

Upon recieving the original order, it was missing the castors. Contacted the "800" number provided and the nightmare started from there. After numerous emails and phone calls we gave up. Decided to go to the local best buy store. They were very helpful. Told us to return the item to the store and they would send us a replacement. Everything went smooth from there, recieved the item in 3 days as promised and all is well. We will never deal with the business that provides these items to besy buy. We have no issue with best by itself and have done a lot of business with them.
