The washer had no hose so the delivery guys took it back and lost both units. So I got this dryer obviously used as there was lent in the trap.

Dryer is horrible customer service is worse

I've had the repairman out 3x so far and it is still not working. I've called the store several times and I keep getting told a manager is going to call me back. Still no call back. Looks like I'm going to deliver the dryer back to them myself and take my business elsewhere.

Posted .Dear taterburn: We are sorry to learn of your Dryer concerns. 90% of improper drying is due to venting issues, and not problems with the dryer, as long as it is heating. Make sure the vent is not blocked, and the air is flowing properly. You can try to vacuum out the bottom of the dryer, to remove any excess lint in the bottom as that will help to reducing drying time. If you have an old bottle brush, clean out the blower area where the lint screen is and swipe the brush to remove excess lint from the blower area. If this does not resolve your drying concern, please email us at [email protected] with your user ID taterburn, name, address, phone number, and the model and serial number from the dryer.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought new stackable Whirlpool Washer/Dryer set in May 2018. After getting a check vent message on dryer display, I had entire 20 foot dryer venting system replaced in my condo. After using several more times, on high drying heat, I happened to touch the right side of dryer and it was so hot I yelled “ouch”. I called store I purchased it from and was told extreme heat on sides of dryer wasn’t normal. Whirlpool tech came out and replaced all heat sensors twice, but that didn’t resolve issue. He then replaced motor, which didn’t help relieve the extreme heat on exterior. Retailer gave me a brand new replacement dryer, which does the same exact thing. Sides get so hot, you could fry an egg on it, I’m not exaggerating. Today, the tech came out again and called Whirlpool factory tech who advised the extreme heat on the sides of the dryer are normal. I just find it odd that many people I’ve spoken with over the months all said it didn’t appear to be a normal thing for extreme heat on the exterior of the dryer. My old stackable Frigidaire dryer never had red hot to the touch exterior sides. My families stackable Maytag dryer never had hot sides when drying on high heat. My in laws and friends all tested their dryer sides on high heat and only felt mild warmth to the touch. I’ve attempted to dry on different cycles which only put out medium heat and the sides warm up, but aren’t red hot, but the clothes don’t dryer after the 78 min cycle. So have to turn on for even more time to dry my items. Has anyone else experienced this same type of red hot high heat on exterior of dryer when drying on high heat? I don’t have a good feeling nor do I feel safe with this dryer.

Works good but no steam function
