However, the pricing from Best Buy was more competitive that other dealers. Mike at the 28th Street store made the purchase a breeze. It's unfortunate that I should expect both appliances to have about a 10-year life span.

I only purchased another Whirlpool so I could use my pedestal which I did not want to replace if I purchased a different brand of dryer. This is a large capacity dryer, the problem is, that if you put more than a small load of wash in it to dry, it needs to be run several times, as in hours, and that is certainly not efficient. My advice, don't buy it. Buy the cheapest dryer you can find because this product is not worth it.

This dryer has Eco setting which helps to save gas and it has sensor to stop whenever needed to. Recommend!
