We use this in our basement. It runs quietly and does the job. The only drawback is when you remove the "bucket", you have to hold onto the handle before setting it on the floor. Otherwise, it tips and spills. Easy to set up. I would recommend this. Price was right.

Went to the store and the associate price smashed it with Amazon. Saved about a hundred bucks. Very quiet easy to operate. Differently hook up the garden hose set the temperature and it does the Rest by itself highly recommend.

After retiring my wife and I with hard work in our careers were fortunate to save enough for a winter place in Mexico. After experiencing some musty and mold smells upon our arrival last time, we decided to purchase this product and work with it’s settings to discover the right balance. Upon our recent winter summary we saw no signs of mold nor smelled zero mold. Was I pleased. It did the job magnificently.

Works well in my basement. Using a hose versus emptying the bucket. Quiet compared to my previous dehumidifier.

unit has good performance, however fan is noisy. my older unit had air that flowed from back to front, this one is in on the front and out the top.

I have had a hard time in the past with dehumidifers lasting very long. They seem to quit working for some odd reason. So far this one is lasting, so I am hopeful !

Unit works fine, but I bought it because it was advertised to be WiFi controller.

After purchasing unit, tried to go to whirlpool website to register. Would not recognize unit. I started a chat with whirlpool and they referred me to another website. This website is a third party that paid whirlpool for the rights to use their name on the product. I sent message to the other company that I wanted to register my product...never got a response. Will probably get the same poor service when I have an actual problem to report. The only reason that I bought this was that I trusted the whirlpool name. Repeat: this is not a whirlpool product, just their name is on it. Also, the room humidity gauge is always wrong. I put my humidity gauge right next to the unit and the unit is always ten to fifteen %points higher than the true humidity in the room. A couple of times I have had to lightly hit the top of the unit to stop loud fan sounds. I would not recommend this dehumidifier to anyone.
