IN 06 IT LOOKED GOOD , GOT IT HOME , WORK FINE FOR 6 MONTS, STARTED WITH A CODE IN THE COMPUTER, TOOK 3 WEEKS TO GET IT FIX, MECH TOLD ME NO PARTS ON TRUCK TO FIX , HAVE TO ORDER , TOOK 10 DAYS TO GET , THEN THEY WERE WRONG PARTS,REORDER PARTS. INSTALL PARTS LASTED 3 MONTS STOP WORKING AGAIN .ORDER MORE PARTS , MECH. DID NOT HAVE PARTS,PARTS CAME IN AFTER ABOUT 14 DAYS , INSTALLED PARTS WORKED UNTIL NOW 6/4/08,STOP WORKING AGAIN, MECH SAID HE WILL ORDER PARTS AGAIN , CALLED THURSDAY WAS TOLD PARTS ON NATIONAL BACK ORDER ????? WAS TOLD IF PARTS NOT IN BY THE 14 OF JUNE I GET A NEW WASHER . ( I WANT MY MONEY BACK ) LARRY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The cabrio is excellent for big loads. It saves water, instead of using lots of water like my old washer. Its energy efficient.

Bought this in Jan. 07. Worst purchase ever, but we have lived with it until now trying everything to get it to work right. Last night the machine went into a spin cycle with the load twisted into a ball and has torn itself apart. It now makes a horrible crunching sound and we have called for repair. It has never cleaned well or rinsed unless you do a double rinse, no water saving there. The machine does twist the laundry into knots that force us to stop it and untie the clothes. We should have returned this long ago, but now we fear it’s too late, but it is so bad we will spend the money for a new washer to get rid of this piece of junk. HELLO CRAIG’S LIST!!

Ok -- I thought -- decent review and it's the most expensive top loader. I'll buy it becuase I want the best (side loaders wouldn't fit in the space I had). The old $250 washer cleaned clothes 100% better than this thing did. Get this -- it uses so little watter that you when it sprays the detergent, faberic softener, bleach on the clothes -- It doesn't wash out. On blankets kept getting more and more detergent collecting on them. OK -- the good news is that I was able to return it in the 30 day period. PS -- the dryer wasn't much better. Alwyas left the clothes very damp even thought the thing is huge.

If Yugo car company made a washer, it would be a Cabrio! After 2 years of home use, the washer is experiencing frequent operation failures. (computer F1 code). Must cancel/reset cycle several times to wash a single load. I did purchase the 5 year service/repair warranty from Best Buy. The service repairman arrives today for repairs. We will see!

This washer is the worst I have ever bought. It comes with a one year warranty, and we had to have both the pump and internal computer replaced within a few months of purchase. Now it won't work again, and we are going to have to pay for service when it is just over one year since we bought it. Do yourself a favor and don't buy this one!!!

I really like the washer. Ask for the web price even if you shop at a best buy store. The web price is cheaper and the store will give it to you if you ask.

After 20 months, my machine went psyco and is totally junk! I paid $1000 for it and Whirlpool will not replace or fix the problem. Very expensive and not quality at all!
