Works Great!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When our 3.2 cuft washer broke we decided to upgrade. What was previously 4 loads before is now 2. Amazingly quiet and all cycles we have run finish in 70 minutes or less including the bulk cycle. One 60-70 minute cycle beats two 40+ minute cycles on the old machine. If you add in the time of switching loads, it was almost 2 hours for two loads before, and now it is done in an hour. Stopping and starting while it determines the load balance is normal. Plus bought at really good price. Best Buy beat Lowes. Only downfall is it won't switch to drying after washing. That would be cool. One machine that does it all. While they are at it if they could find a way to fold them it would be great. (Dirty in -> Folded out) :) We are very happy with this washer!

If like dirty laundry
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There is no real agitator in this washer. There is only a little one on the bottom and it does a horrible job moving the contents within the tub. Worse yet, the water levels are too low to do a proper wash, but that's most likely result from government regulations (because in their minds running a washer 2 or 3 times with 10 gallons is more efficient than running if once with 25).

Super Quiet
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the quietness of this washer. The first night we had it the whole family stood around the washer to watch it work through the glass lid. Funny I know but I was amazed by the low amount of water that's used with this machine but the clothes still come out clean. It even made our 11 year old want to do her own laundry. Score one for me!

LEAKS and clothes are not clean
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am not happy at all with my Cabrio. It has leaked water on the floor since I purchased it and the repair people have been out three times to TRY to fix the leak with no luck. They informed me I should accept the leak, huh?? It leaves soap in the wash load even with minimal correct detergent and is not water efficient if you have to rinse two or three times to get the soap out. It will not correct itself after un-balanced load, just keep filling up with water until it is turned off and restarted. AND the plastic drum has mold all over it even with the special washer cleaning mode. Did I say I hate my Whirlpool Cabrio Platinum washer?

Horrible customer service
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned this washer for 14 months and the bearings have gone out. Warranty expired at 12 months. Neither Best Buy or Whirlpool will assist with the repair of this product. Repairs will cost $40 less than what I paid for the machine new. Sooo angry with the quality of products being sold today!

Flawed design - destroys clothes - do not buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This washer's design is inherently flawed. It is incredibly abusive to your clothing, pulling, stressing, knotting, and fraying anything that goes in it. Your pants will literally come out with the legs tied together in knots (yes, the first time that happened I was very confused). T-shirts end the cycle twisted together as if you had been wringing them out like a sponge. A brand new pair of wool socks I put in it (on the delicate cycle) ended a single wash cycle with as much fraying as a 3 year old pair that I had only ever washed in a Front-Loader. It seems like a good idea, since when you open the lid you see a lot of space inside the washer, but in fact you can't use all that space. Even the loading instructions printed on the machine tell you to only load a small amount of clothing in so that you can always see the center of the plate at the bottom of the washer. In exchange, you get very, very poor washing performance and your clothes are destroyed. Do not buy this!

hate this washer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't trust any washer that doesn't fill up with water while cleaning. White clothes are turning yellow when using required amount of bleach. Called Whirlpool for assist who claims not to be able to help. Although on line Whirlpool says machines are warranted for 1 year, phone calls to them claim time ran out after 9 months. How convenient .

Cabrio is expensive, leaks and is loud
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 2nd Cabrio. The first one was replaced due to leaking and noise. Now the 2nd one is doing the same thing, leaking and very noisy. I also doesn't clean towels very well either.
