This was the only DW that had the Silverware tray on the Door. Although I have gone through 3 Whirlpool DW's in 9 years, We do have well water so I kind of expected that.

i woul buy another one in the future if i had to, and recomend

Does not have all the extras but does the job. The more complicated the more expensive to fix.

Best Buy installed my new dishwasher. It would not go to wash cycle. they will replace it; but, I have to wait more than two more weeks.

Was looking for a middle of the road, in terms of cost, dishwasher, with the stainless-steel look. Got the dishwasher on sale, with free delivery & haul-away, and only $19.99 installation- can't beat that combo! After a lot of research in stores, and on-line, I decided on this model. And so far, couldn't be happier. It looks great, which sadly is important, but even more importantly, it runs great. Can't believe how quiet it is. The dishes come out great, even when I don't take the time to make sure they rinsed off before I load it. Dries well too. The energy-saving design is nice as well, and there are plenty of options in terms of wash-cycles. For the cost, I highly recommend this model. My big tip, wait til they are offering the $19.99 installation special before you buy, otherwise they want to charge over $100 for installation. Check the weekly ads, they seem to offer it quite often.

Our old dishwaher kept leaving black particles and residue on our dishes. I finally had it, and found this gem for only 400 dollars plus 130 for installation (a different company installed). It has all the features you would need. Easy to use. Wash cycle is long, but you can set it for no dry and 1 hour wash if you like. I don't mind since we always run it at night. Not too loud either. My only complaint is it would be nice if some of the slats could drop down on the racks. It is hard to fit a pan or bigger objects in the dish sized slats. Also the silverware holder on the door can be a curse and a blessing. It is nice because it leaves more room on the racks. It just doesn't fit some bigger knives or sippy cup lids. I just stick these items on the top shelf. All the dishes come out clean and residue free. We love it!

I've had this model for about a month now, used daily and I'm quite pleased so far. Its very quiet and an added bonus is that it does not heat up my kitchen when running--my old one would give off so much heat that the counter top and work space around it would get so humid/hot that you didn't want to stand by it. These new models do cycle much longer as many have noted but it cleans so well that most times I can use the shorter wash cycles. Easy to clean filter and easy to use control panel. My husband said it was fairly easy to install, --hes done it before and has all the handyman tools--it took about 45 mins to disconnect the old and hook this one up--we did have to buy one $5 plumbing part(whirlpool conversion kit) as they have changed/upgraded the water inlet hookup that most older houses have. He found it at Lowes. My only negative is with the bottom rack, its not really designed for pots/pans or large items..so I saved my old one from my previous Whirlpool as it had a special rack that you could fold down to make room for bigger items. I did a lot of review research when shopping for this and I think its a great quality product for its price range. I had no desire to spend 6-8 hundred dollars on a dishwasher..this one has the pots and pan cycle for heavily soiled and it has the option for heated water and sani-rinse, which quite a few others did not have in this price range. Also I always buy the extended warranty and have that peace of mind for down the road.

This dishwasher has worked well so far. Much better than the Frigidaire dishwasher I had that only lasted 4 years. It is much quieter than my previous dw. I'm not sure if I am thrilled about the location of the silverware basket. I always have to push the bottom rack in to place the silverware in the basket. But that is the compromise you make for increased rack space. The extra features of sanitizing and high temp are nice.
