Only had it for a week - so far no problems. Cleans well, VERY quiet, and looks great. Installation was very simple with the Best Buy install kit [worth the $30 but why not include it and up the price?] NOTE: this high efficiency washer can take up to 4 hours per load - something about a low wattage motor and more thorough cleaning - whatever, it's working.

This dishwasher has been great so far. It is so quiet that I don't even know it is on. The dishes on the top rack are just as clean as the ones on the bottom. Had gone through a number of years of glasses and cups on top rack with our previous washer not coming out clean. I really like having the silverware on the door, freeing up the lower rack for other dishes. I also like separating the utensils so they don't nest into each other leaving them with streaks and food. When my last dishwasher quit I was almost glad to see it go. Now I am happy.

Overall this is a great product. It cleans well even thought it takes awhile. They say it does this because it is saving energy when it takes longer. The dish racks can sometimes be hard to organize certain items but its not a deal breaker in my opinion.

We chose this one because it is stainless steel, the controls are visible, it has more features than we needed, the one-hour wash is great for every day washing, eco heated option and very quiet. It is bigger and better than I expected. I hope this will last for 17 years like my old one.

It's hard to rate durability when we've only had the product for about 1.5 months so for now I only gave it an average. The look is very nice and it's a more energy efficient unit. So far, it seems to work great. I find that it holds less than the non-stainless steel dishwasher I had before but I'm adapting. I also don't like the silverware tray in the door. All in all, I'm okay with the purchase. If I had to do it over, I may look for something more specific to my OCD neurotic compulsion about loading a dishwasher. My husband seems to love it.

I had never owned a dishwasher before so I cannot compare to any. However I did do a lot of research and based on great reviews I ended up purchasing this Whirlpool DW. I must say it is great! Very quiet and cleans great! I am very satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend.

I am really glad to have purchased this item. The look and performance are simply a fabulous value . The previous reviewers were right and I wish to endorse this dishwasher. Spending more money could not get me a better item. I really fun full loads and this runs great. Very important to always use a rinse aid with this eco friendly appliance.

Appreciate the energy star rating.Have noticed decrease in my electric bill all ready.No water bill yet.Am still working to figure out the problem with soap not dissolving.Could be utensils blocking the soap dispenser.Some water left in indentations of cups but I don't use rinse aid.Small inconvenience to dry by hand.Ability to move utensil rack gives more configurations for dishes on bottom rack.Plastic bowls stay put and get cleaned! Reasonable price.Bought on 4th of July sale.Then Best Buy took more off when ding discovered upon delivery. (came right out of the box).Plus the price dropped during the 30 day period.Sales person was pushing Bosch which has a 5yr warranty for parts.I liked this configuration better.Plus,my last Whirlpool lasted 24 yrs no problems!Delivery complications.Could not be hooked up to my existing connection.Required calling a plumber.Overall very happy.

Freakishly quiet! Great dishwasher, but watch out if you overload the smaller silverware basket (having it in the door as a space saver is GREAT!). Three different rotating arms for water enables you to load the shelves with many dishes, and the stainless steel interior assists with the drying cycle. Love it!

This is a great dishwasher for the price. Easy to install. It gets everything clean and I love the features.

I have only used the dishwasher once and it has been good. Only complaint on the actual dishwasher is the length of the run time. I choose Best Buy because they were the only ones offering free installation at the time and oh the price I have paid for that free installation. The 3rd party installation company has been an absolute nightmare. Upon delivery and installation they some how managed to break my kitchen faucet. The installer attempted to fix it and the following morning there was water everywhere and even leaking down to our basement. It took us 3 days of getting the run around before they sent a plumber out. They don't take any records and keep trying to tell me my sink was broken before the installation. Finally the installer must have admitted to his managers so they sent a plumber out who then told us while the installer was attempting to fix what he broke, he was yanking on the faucet and ruined it beyond repair and the faucet would need to be completely replaced. I have been without a kitchen sink for 14 days! Having a family and it being the holidays it has been an absolute nightmare that no one understands how vital a kitchen sink is! I am still getting the run around from this 3rd party installation company that won't return phone calls and I have to call several times a day only to actually talk to someone and then be told they are still waiting?! After having spent a good chunk of change on this dishwasher plus $179 on best buy's 5 year protection plan I am extremely disappointed. It has been a huge waste of money and I really wish I would have stuck with my old dishwasher instead of wasting my money and a ton of time dealing with this upgrade. If you live in Milwaukee beware of the installation!!!!

The diswasher does a great job cleaning but the quiet running mode is amazing!!!

This is an excellent dishwasher. The dishes come out incredibly clean and dry, and the washer is extremely quiet. We can barely hear this in our kitchen and can't hear it at all once we leave our kitchen. We looked at far more expensive models because some were rated as being more quiet than this Whirlpool but we're so glad we didn't shell out the extra bucks for something rated quieter. We often load this up with filthy dishes with dried on food, but dishes come out perfectly clean every time. Very pleased, highly recommend!!

We replaced our old DW with this new one thinking it would clean as well or better since we were exceptionally happy with the old one. After a month, we don't feel it does nearly as good of a job as the old one, and the silverware is seldom clean. It is extremely quiet as advertised, and has a variety of cycles (although not as many as the previous model at nearly half the cost). Since we plan to sell the house soon, we will live with it, but are dissappointed.

This is a great dishwasher. I searched and studied reviews what seemed like forever until I finally decided on this one. It's been in a week and we have been very pleased. My favorite feature is that you can move the silverware basket from the door to the side lower rack or the front or back lower rack. It's extremely quiet and my dishes come out super clean and no spots as long as I use the rinse aid. I would purchase this dishwasher again.

The best feature of this washer is the stainless look front. The inside is nice, but the flatware holder is too small and hard to get items into it. And if you place anything to long into it (longer knives, or cooking utensils, you end up blocking the soap dispenser and it wont open when you run the washer. The holder is indented into the door enough that it also makes putting utensils into it difficult on the side under the soap dispenser because you have to put them in at an angle. i had to take the little plastic holder off of the tops of them so i could get the utensils in and out easier. Also the washer closes and seals so tightly (which seems like a good thing) but its so tight that the small bit of water remaining in the washer after you cycle it can't evaporate and it starts to mildew and makes the washer smell bad on the inside. My other washer never did this so it's odd to me. Anyway, if i could do it over, i'd buy something different.

I have had this one for the past few weeks, and the usual working of a dishwasher seems OK other than a fundamental flaw (see below). This one replaced a six year old Whirlpool, so stayed with the brand. 1. Cleans OK - not that good. We have to rinse the dishes first. 2. Noise - Good. 3. Looks - Good steel finish. 4. Door Design - Nope - The door has 2 parts. The panel and the rest of the door. The way the door is designed whenever you open the door using the upper part/panel - the two pieces separate - creating a 2 to 3 mm gap between them. Very shady design. I am not sure when the door will fall apart on us. I thought that I got a bad unit, so worked with customer service to exchange the unit which they did after 5/6 phone calls. Interestingly the same exact problem with the second unit as well. I would love to return it if BestBuy.com allows me to. Whirlpool brand is now on my list bad design items.

I had a Whirlpool dishwasher installed in the house when it was built in 1995. It finally gave out a little over a month ago. Since it had lasted a little over 18 years I decided to go with another Whirlpool. I can't believe the changes they have made! There is so much more room in this model than my old one. No more uprights in the middle of the rack that you have to locate your dishes around. The tall tube adds tons of height to both racks. My two favorite features are the delay start and how darn quite this thing is. If I had to give a negative, the dishes aren't 100% dry but that was normal with the old dishwasher as well. Would recommend this model.

Bought it for my mom after her dishwasher broke, she likes how it is so quiet, but if you don't wash your dishes right away you might want to look for something that's stronger. Overall good experience.
