Very pleased with this purchase, installation and service were fantastic and the machine has outperformed our expectations.

The dishwasher cleans wonderfully. Each cycle just takes longer than normal.

After only eight years with my previous dishwasher, after a leak in the bottom, and after about two years of poor performance, I recognized I needed a new dishwasher. I did a lot of research, like anyone reading this review, but this is a new model, so there wasn't much write up on it. I've had the dishwasher installed for about a week and a half. There were some mistakes made with the delivery and installation, but that got resolved. Basically, they delivered the wrong color, then couldn't install it because it was a fraction of an inch wider than my previous model, though the measurements were listed as exactly the same. Luckily, the contractor who remodeled my kitchen six years ago came by and installed the unit after just a bit of cabinet shaving that didn't show. But I will say the Best Buy installer could have handled a regular install for a really good price. The stainless interior really keeps this model whisper quiet. I'm very happy with that. It's a clean design and there's tons of room. My previous dishwasher also had the utensil tray in the door, and once you have that, you really can't go back to having the utensils take up space in the bottom rack. So I love that and wanted that again. This model adds a separator so they don't nest, and what a difference! It takes a little getting used to, to load the utensils into the separator grid, but the results are wonderful. My utensils are sparkling clean, like never before. What's really impressive is the way it cleans the glasses and plates. I knew my old dishwasher wasn't doing a great job, but I had no idea until I saw the side by side comparison and the sparkling results. I literally took every glass in my cabinet, supposedly clean, and washed them again, just to get them all that clear. I hadn't noticed my glasses had a haze that this dishwasher has removed, so they now gleam like new. Really impressive! The dishwasher is reported to take a very long time to run for the first time, despite it's energy usage. It took about 3 hours that first time, exactly what the literature indicated. The following washes did not take that long, at all; about the same time as my previous washer. The literature also warns that you need to be sure to have the rinsing agent in there, but I always used that, though I never got results like this before. Their reasoning for use of the rinsing agent is so that the dishwasher and it's contents are not dripping wet when you open the door. There was a very small amount of condensation, but the dishes were bone dry. I realize there is a filter that will need to be cleaned out in time, but I'd rather that than the food swim around in there and reconnect with the dishes. I'm a girl who doesn't mind a little maintenance if it gives me better performance. Overall, I would recommend this dishwasher to others, based upon my using it about five times so far.

The quietest dishwazher i have ever heard. Bought floor model and no problems.

We've been very pleased so far but got the GeekSquad extended warranty just in case. This machine replaced a Samsung that lasted 17months(JUNK). It is reasonably priced and quiet. Be sure to buy the installation kit to get the adapter you must have to connect to the water line. It's easy to use, has well placed controls and the silverware gets clean! It could be better at drying.

The dishwasher is stylish, easy to use, efficient, and quiet. We found it to be cost effective given the fact it has a stainless steel tub along with all of the features found in higher priced competitors. I would recommend this dishwasher to an individual looking for value, efficiency, and style.

It does all that it advertises that it wiill do. It is super quiet. I would buy this product again.

it cleans the dishes well but there is often water left on the dishes afterwards. it is not a big hassle to towel them off, but previous dishwashers have left my dishes dryer

Does a excellant job. Cleans , even dreid on egg on the dish. Leaves the dishs , etc sparkling.

We bought this dishwasher as an open-box item and found the instructions online. It ran quietly and flawlessly right after it was installed. We are pleased we could replace a non-working dishwasher without spending too much money.

Great overall dishwasher. My dishes are actually clean when the dishes are done. It is very quiet when it runs so I don't even mind using it when we are in the next room. I'm extremely happy with this purchase and would recommend it.

I am disappointed that the frame around the controls on the door has cracked. Whirlpool not available to schedule repair on Saturdays. I was happy until I noticed how flimsy the cabinet is. I am a light user and very careful. I hope Whirlpool will make this right.

Too new to tell yet, but so far as been cleaning and trying the dishes in a very good manner. Dishwasher was on sale at another place, but Best Buy did price match.

Product performs as expected, price was ok, BUT the rack design is lacking. Just doesn't feel like much thought was given to this aspect of the product. The worst example is that the utensil rack is at the base of the door, so with the door down & utensils in the rack, the bottom rack routinely get hung up on the utensils - incredibly annoying.

Despite the fact that it is quiet and can hold lots of dishes and glassware, the utensil holder is worthless. First, the "slots" you should use to keep the utensils from sticking to each other are not big enough for my forks, etc. So I can't use it, which means everything is just crammed in there and I have had instances where my utensils are not clean. Second, the utensil holder size is not equivilent to the amount dishes you are using. Therefore, I am running out of utensils, before I have filled up the dishwasher with dishes. Which overfilling the holder, helps contribute to the "food" left on the utensils. Third, I hate it being in the door. I realize it gives me a few plate spots, but it is a pain to have to pull the door up everytime you are putting utensils in. Then lower the door back, fully down, pull out the bottom rack, then load it. Wasted energy and time . Another problem I have is there is no "quick rinse" option. With having such a large capacity to hold dishes, sometimes I might not run it for a few days. By that time, if I have not rinsed the dishes well enough, then I am finding "food particles" still on my plates. Sorta defeats the purpose of not having to "wash" before loading the dishwasher. Would I recommend this, no. My last dishwasher (different brand), died w/in about 4 yrs. I am afraid this one will probably last forever because it overall is a pain in the rear.
