This is my first front loading washer. So far, so good. The clothes come out clean and it's easy enough to use. Most of the features I won't deal with (no need) and having the extra shelf space on top of the unit is handy. Pros: reasonably fast, uses less water, audible chime upon completion Cons: door can't be reversed, uses only high efficiency detergent, soap/bleach/fabric softener drawer could be thought out better. Why is the bleach all the way in the back? Why is it wet sometimes after completion? Tip: when you're done with the laundry, leave the door open for a bit to let the interior dry out. That said, it works well for me and I'm glad I bought it.

the washer cleans well and spins very well. this is BIG difference FROM THE OLD WASHER. I had a very helpful person and he took the time to explain and answer my questions. it has been awhile since I had to make this discussion. I have purchased quite a lot in the past from best buy. good service is important.

I'm very impressed with this washer. It is quiet, does a good job cleaning the clothes and the clothes come out very dry requiring minimal time in the dryer. Going to this washer from an old top loader has been a great experience. The controls are a bit slow recognizing the selections but you get used to it

Needed a stackable combination for a tight space. The Whirlpool Duet fit the bill and then some. Shockingly quiet, fast and very thrifty with water. Clothes come out MUCH cleaner than our legacy, top loaders. Should have done this years ago!

So far we are satisfied with this purchase. Cleans well and the spin cycle does a great job of ringing excess water from the clothes. Saves our dryer a lot of work (and saves on energy costs in the process).

i like it, it washes my clothes and makes them clean. i stacked a dryer on it, and its just holding that s*** like nobody's business.

Purchased this after moving into our first house. Does an excellent job cleaning clothes and extracts a lot of water from each load, reducing the time needed to dry.

I had the original Duet and the bearings were going. I replaced with the new 4.2 cubic feet and it works great and the old storage draw works on the new washer, you don't have to buy a new one.

I wanted a Maytag washer since that is all I have ever owned. The only difference between a Maytag and a Whirlpool is the name plate on the front of the machine. Like all appliances now, they are not made to last 20+ years anymore. There are 2 things that I do not care for about this machine. One is the noise level when it is running. I guess there is zero sound insulation in this washer? The second is the fact that if you stop it to "add a garment" it just keeps dispensing the soap and that soap just drips all over your arm as you reach into the machine.

I bought both this dryer and the matching washing machine to stack in a very small laundry closet. Looking at the space I thought I needed a stackable apartment-style one piece unit, but these actually fit too! They look nice and work well. Even stacked I can still reach all the controls nicely. My only minor complaint is the noise. These aren't loud machines but I wouldn't exactly consider them quiet. Then there are the cycle signals... Loud and musical and you can't turn them off! This isn't a big deal unless you do laundry before bed or during naps. It even slightly annoys my cats. But I'm overall very satisfied with the purchase!

Having to take care of my home buy myself I find the whirlpool washer easy to use and does a great job.

After about a month, like this washer a lot, it seems sturdy and well made. Only downside is tiny LED indicator lights that show water temp, spin speed etc, are hard to see in our bright laundry room. Best Buy delivery and installation were excellent. Have been unable to obtain a receipt from BB, after 2 calls where I was assured that receipt would be mailed right away (need receipt to get utility rebate).

I love this washer. it has all the dials that I need , and is easy to use. my clothes come out brighter and cleaner smelling than the last front loader I owned (different brand).

Definitely a quiet and stable washing machine. Before this one we were used to noisy, bouncing washing machines that really didn't do a great job. What a difference! This one is quiet and really washes the clothes. Temperature selection is simple and it automatically balances the load before it starts, We have owned for over a year now, and no problems whatsoever. We have the matching dryer as well. A great set thus far.

The washer is working as promised. The spin cycle works great, clothes are nearly dry when done.

Excellent price for a great product. I would recommend this washer over the fancy Samsung or LG models.
