needed a washer same day and got a great deal on a returned item for the same price!

I haven't gotten to try this product yet but will update my review when I do.

Wanted a simple front load washer for my mother and this one fits her needs.

The machine works well and it is by far the best front load I have used.

I had to buy this same washing machine within 2 years of purchasing it previously. You might ask: "why buy the same brand and type if it failed before?" Well, I didn't want two different brands or types of washer and dryer, so my primary reason for purchasing this one again was so it would match our dryer. As for the performance, when it worked it was fine. But motor and/or related problems were said to be known with this brand, according to my maintenance professional hired to try to fix the other. Get the service plan, even though I don't typically. It just seems manufacturers' prices keep going up, but quality goes down as they cut corners to make more profit for themselves. The consumer suffers. I tell folks Whirlpool has cost me as much as my federal income taxes have this past year, so who is worse? Big government or big business? The sad trend of higher price, lower quality trickled all the way down to my washing machine, apparently.

The washer is great for a basic model. The capacity is big enough for a good sized load. Seems to clean well so far.

I purchased this washer to replace my current whirlpool front load washer. When I finally received it, I didn't realize how much smaller it was than my original washer and how much more that I spent this time buying it. I did return it due to the size of the washer and because of the ill fitting pedestal that I purchased to place the washer on (it was too small). I didn't give it a poor rating because I didn't have an opportunity to use it. I just won't purchase large appliances online without viewing in the store first. You really don't know what you are getting unless you see it in person and also speak with an employee that works in that specific department.
