So far working well. This machine was a good value.

We went through two models. They each had the same issue. The dryer leaked water from the upper rim. We had not connected the water hose yet. We were just drying towels. The first device stopped working after 6 days. We figured the water caused this. The replacement leaked in the same area. We returned this one and went with a different model.

I really am glad I purchased this Whirlpool front ;old dryer. It dries efficiently and I can't wait to get a chance to use the steam option. I am especially happy that it is American made.

What a luxury to have the option to steam dry, cuts down on ironing

I had this dryer for about 8 years and recently had to leave it with my house when it sold, loved it so when I had to buy new set, without even hesitating, I ordered the same set. Huge mistake. On the normal drying cycle it takes 78 minutes to dry a load!! and even then quite a few items are still damp. My old dryer did not take nearly as long and everything was dry! I even called and had them bring me a new dryer thinking it was defective but now that the second one is just as bad guessing it's the way it's being made now!!
