I recently purchased the Whirlpool 50 Pint Dehumidifier and it's been a game-changer for my home. The humidistat is easy to use and adjust, and the unit itself is quiet and efficient. I've noticed a significant reduction in moisture levels, especially in my basement. The design is sleek and compact, making it easy to move around and fit into tight spaces. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this dehumidifier and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve the air quality in their home.

I had trouble with this unit freezing up. I made sure it was in a position where it got good air flow. The automatic defrost feature does not work. Now I turn it off in the evening and set the timer to turn it on after from 1 to 4 hours. It hasn't frozen up since I started doing that. It keeps the humidity in the basement at a good level, so I'm keeping it. I can't speak to longevity, since I've only been using it for about 6 weeks.

For the first month, seems to be doing great. Bucket is filled with water each day to be emptied. Time will tell if this continues for several years!

The holding tank for water is small and fills very quickly.

The dehumidifier works great. It works better than any other dehumidifier we purchased in the last seven years.

Froze up - solid ice covering filter after 2 1/2 days of use. Defrosted ice and tried again. Same result. Returned to store for refund. Also, plastic feels flimsy and cheap. Will not buy Whirlpool again.

Great dehumidifier so far. The wheels were a little tricky to locate but if you look inside the bucket area they are up near the top of the space.

Works great! The house had moisture stains and they disappeared in a couple of days.

I returned this item. It did not work well. After a week, the humidity level had only dropped to 64 from 66 even though I had the comfort level set at 45.
