||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.my only complaint is it is a bit more expensive than i'd like, but other than that it works as described. it provides clean tasting water. i live in nyc and we have higher mineral water, so the filter appears to clog up and slow down the water in my fridge faster than normal. i end up replacing them twice as fast. you kinda have no choice when your fridge uses a certain kind of filter, so its good best buy sells these things online.

I don't have to remember when I replaced it, Best Buy let's me set up a set up a renewal plan and they send me one every six months. And replacement is super easy.

Does Not Fit Miss Alignment

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even though this is the filter that shows for our Kenmore refrigerator and it looks almost identical to the one being replaced,. this DID NOT fit the Kenmore (Whirlpool) refrigerator and could not get it to lock in place like the old one. Looking at this filter I notice where the filter is suppose to spin and lock is not cast correctly and therefore not allowing it to fully seat and lock like the original. Save the headaches and go OEM.

I appreciate they have not modified the design or changed it in some radical way making it unusable (you know makers do that all the time and leave the packaging the same so consumers dont suspect a thing - then you get it home and Whammy) Tried and true, reliable Quality!
