Used with builtin 2.2 cu. ft. Whirlpool Model WMC50522HZ Microwave. Completes the builtin look. Need two people for install but relatively easy.

I bought this kit for my whirlpool microwave. It worked great, but you have to make sure you have the right kit size for the right microwave. There are different sizes. One different thing is the vents are on the side of the left/right trim piece so it give the installation a very sleek look. So depending on what you like, this would be something to look at. However, I liked it, so it worked for me.

The trim kit for my Frigidaire/Electrolux micro wave unit arrived on time. The kit was easy to install. It came with a support base which acted as a duct to guide the hot air to the front where there were vents. The front is stainless steel, which matches the micro wave unit quite well. It matches my other built-in appliances. Good product.

This is easy to install, but the directions were lacking in clear detail. Although the unit was installed without issue, it took some study to install properly. Additionally, the angled outer set screws require cabinet material to be present, they do not screw into the metal frame work/platform. GE does have a better design with their Microwave Trim Kit. They use metal framework to support the outer trim.

Overall it fits well and looks good with the microwave. My only dislike is that it sits on rails, otherwise, good addition.

Just bought a KitchenAid (Whirlpool) countertop microwave oven in stainless steel finish. This trim kit was easy to install and matches perfectly with our older KitchenAid oven below it. Buying a countertop model with a trim kit costs MUCH less than a built in model. Also the only way to get 2.2 cu. ft. capacity is to buy a countertop model!

Trim kit was very easy to install and I had no issues. Looks nice and cleans up with a quick wipe.

The trim kit had great instructions, was easy to install and --when completed---looked great.

I like the GE mounting design better. It looks good and matches the stove. There is a factory defect as it look like the plastic has been melted after second one received with same defect it was installed any way. The defect is on the back so it still looks good

I was worried about the stainless steel color being different from my KitchenAid microwave, but it matches perfectly!

Before purchasing the trim kit, we were concerned that it would not work with the size of the aperture and the new KitchenAid microwave. We went ahead and bought the trim kit where it turned out to be easy to install and looks great. If there was an issue, the Best Buy return policy had us covered!

No issues, just as described. Fit my whirlpool microwave to put it in the wall.

The trim kit fits really well around my microwave. All of the gaps seem to be evenly spaced, so it looks like its one with the microwave. I'm quite pleased with it.

The trim ring arrived to me with a very visible dent. I will be returning it for another one.

It's plastic so the color is a little off but it does the job nicely.
