When we purchased our previous Whirlpool, my husband decided that ehe would just put it on a wood base. Dumb !!! Love this set up and the storage drawers underneath it!

Love these Drawers for storing so many things besides my detergents.

Bought the front load washer/dryer. Pedestals were delayed. Definitely worth it! Much easier to use with them up off the floor.

This pedestal sets the washer up several inches, making it much easier to load/unload the washer. Great storage for laundry products.

But I'm really, really glad we went ahead and got the pedestal. I can't imagine bending down that far with a bad back. It keeps the washer extremely level even with heavy loads.
