Laundry Pedestal

The height it adds is perfect to prevent bending over so much while doing laundry! The storage inside is also very generous to hold anything supplies you have for laundry or washer and dryer maintenance. I highly recommend this pedestal and for anyone that has a front load set to put them on pedestals! Have it professionally installed it’s very difficult to lift washer on pedestal and to balance the machine.

After getting the negative response of the mounting was totally different we compared the tops of these with the tops of recommended pedestals and they seemed to match perfectly so we bought them. Attached them and they fit perfectly.

- A:Answer I just purchased the MGD5500FC (gas) dryer & matching washer and they fit the XHPC155YC pedestals. The XHPC155YC pedestals are NOT WHITE pedestals, they are for the metallic slate/diamond. The white pedestals are XHPC155XW. Www.maytag.com has a chat option that can answer any questions for you. If BestBuy delivers the appliance & pedestal they install on the pedestal and verify the unit is running. Keep the feet that come with the appliance in case you ever want to take it off the pedestal.
