The litter robot 3 has proved to be a lifesaver for my son and his growing family of felines. . . He runs a nonprofit reacue and is always being asked to forster a new stray and these litter robots have helped with keeping his picky finicky kitties from tossing litter all over the place like they use too. . . And best of all they keep the odor to a minimum. . .

We like it!! Keeps us from having to clean the litter boxes daily. Now we just wipe down the inside every couple of weeks. One down side is that the app was difficult to set up.

Never thought i would say this about an auto scooper. But this thing is great. Cleaning and kitty maintenance is so easy now with this i don’t dread cleaning any more.

Fundamentally, the concept of a robot that will sift your cats waist and dump it into a tray sounds great. After using it for almost a week, we noticed three major flaws. **The app, despite my son’s attempts x 10 to set up the app, (and he is a former Geek Squad repair agent/manager), he was never able to get it to work. I tried on my Apple device, thinking it might be an Android issue, but to no avail. ** Second - It’s great that this robot sifts the waist and dumps it into drawer, but then the stink begins… Cats bury their waist so it won’t smell, and when you ‘un-bury’ it and put it into a drawer, it quickly becomes smelly again. The way they set up the tray, it is not sealed, so the smell takes over whatever room it is in. Disgusting. Because we could not get the app installed to schedule a once a day or manual sift, it simply went to default mode, which sits the waist every time the cat goes to the bathroom. Not good! **Third, the tray limits you to only bags that you have to purchase on a regular basis from this company. It doesn’t twist the bag, seal the bag, but just adds more plastic to the environment. What a gimic. We will be returning this piece of junk. In my economy, because this contraption cost over $600, it should do everything it says, to perfection! I am not about to spend $800 on the newest version. We’re finished with these poop robots, and going back to the good old-fashioned way…scooping the poop ourselves.

This is definitely worth the money. I’ve had it for over a month and it is excellent. I have 2 cats and I change out the bag every 5-6 days. You can use regular 13 gallon trash bags instead of the expensive liners they try to sell you. It’s pretty quiet while operating and it has a lot of features through the app. I would absolutely recommend this product.

Love love love this!! I’m able to empty the bag from the bottom like 1 maybe 2 times a week. I don’t smell the litter, my cats adjusted to it super easy!

Wonderful product. Once in a while it gets stuck in its clean cylcle and stops with no litter returned to the chamber. Most of the time it works well. I love the notifications on my cell phone.

I don’t know if it’s just my cats but the female cats are OK going in it but the male cats don’t seem to like it. I don’t know if it’s too claustrophobic for them or not but it does work OK when it gets used

It is truely an amazing upgrade to cat ownership. I highly recommend anyone whos looking into getting a litterbox robot to take the dive. Its seriously worth it!

This thing is amazing!! Not only does it look futuristic... it is so automated that it makes my daily shore of cleaning almost non existant. Totoally improved the smells around it as well. YAY!!

Gave the litter robot as a gift this past Christmas, and it was a big hit. Grandma doesn’t have to scoop out the litter every day and the grandkids love the Bluetooth messages. Very cool

Hello! We purchased THE Litter Robot 3 from Best Buy after many reviews & the price was a bit much. However, we were enticed by the fact that it would supposedly make our lives & our Cats & their current litter box a much easier task from constant cleaning. However, I have tried multiple times to connect the Robot 3 to the app on my phone to no avail! It's frustrating & the fact that this Robot 3 malfunctions the majority of the time is also a major issue. It gets stuck upside down & the Cats do not understand how to use it. So much in fact, that I am doing more of trying to get it to cycle back to the original position, so our Cats may use the darn thing! We read reviews continually on everything we purchase & we have to say that these reviews vs our personal experience are quite the contrary! No matter how many times I have tried this app, it continues to error. Today, it cycled for no reason after it had already filtered the cat litter, three times in 1 hr. For us, returning it would be the best option & finding another litter box that is easier to connect to & functions as it's suppose to. For the price, we couldn't be more disappointed & apparently the reputation of this Company is self-explanatory by the Better Business Bureau's complaints!

Absolutely the best litter box ever. We have to change the bag every other week instead of every other day and it smells so much better

Amazing! We love it! I get the app notification on my phone that the drawer is full, I change out the trash bag, and I put the drawer back in. Its that easy! It's super efficient on litter too!

We love this litter box. This is our second one. I have 11 cats and I have to empty the pan two or three times a week. It really saves on litter. Runs great.

A little messy in the litter drop box But so far so good. Works as described.
