I highly recommend this product for anyone with an animal they care for. Product battery life is very good, lasting almost two week while on WiFi. GPS and phone notifications work well. Only downfall is you can only see the tracking history until unit returns home.

I have tried both the Whistle3 and LinkAKC. The Whistle3 is by far the better form factor - the LinkAKC is bulky and a bad fit for larger dogs. Unfortunately, they both use AT&T for the cell connection and apparently AT&T coverage in this area is terrible because neither could accurately track my dog.

I no longer have to worry about losing my cat. The battery life is decent, could be better. It only lasts three days.

Great product serves its purpose lets us know when the dog is out of the safe zone. The only issue I have is the zone is large and not adjustable. Our dog is about two houses away before notification. Still good because we now know which direction she went. I would buy this product again.

The Whistle 3 has worked very good for the time we've had it. Serves as both a location tracker and activity tracker for the pet. Luckily, have only seen it in action when we test and walk the pup. Hope to never truly need it. The app is good and I've spoken to customer service once with a question and the were very helpful. It does require good solid cell phone towers to track well. Left off one star only because we haven't seen it in action in an emergency.

Absolutely recommend this device. It lets me know every time my best friend is away from the boundaries I set up. It also lets me know where he is at any given time while away. There is a lot of in/out at my house. Although everyone knows to mind the open doors and make sure my dog does not get out, this is a fail safe system I can have as backup.

The best feature of the Whistle is the GPS tracking and push notifications. It definitely helps provide a level of security. The tracking is interesting, but not of much concern, so that is just fun data. It would be better if you could customize a virtual fence for the pet. Also, it is a bit bulky, and hopefully they make a thinner version.

Now, of course, my dog looks a little strange having so many items on his collar. He's got a automatic key for an automated dog door along with this GPS device. However, knowing that he is safe and secure means the world to though of us that consider our pets family. Great product until innovation creates something smaller and or under the skin.

Have had another brand and the whistle is by far superior. Great battery life along with ability to set up mutiple safe locations.

Easy to install on a collar, however, I believe the tabs will wear out.

I bought two of these for my dogs. I was expecting perhaps a $50 per year subscription. The monthly subscription was $10 a month per dog!!! That is just too much for what the product is. I only found out how much the subscription was after installing the app for one dog. Even after deleting the app, I kept getting emails that the device's battery had depleted. I had to contact customer service to get the emails to stop.

Very simple and easy to use I would say this is probably the best one for the dollar

The Whistle worked great and the battery lasted a long time while in wifi range. Our dog sleeps in a kennel away from the house and had to recharge it daily.

We bought two of these for our dogs. They are not runners but went to the mountains and wanted to be safe. The app works great and the devices are not too large for our 40# dogs. Works on connecting to your WiFi so it does not drive you nuts and the one year plan is like $8 per month if you pay up front in full. Finally a pet tracking GPS that is affordable and works great. Did I mention the app works great!

Does what is supposed to. I have had it for over a year and it has worked without a hitch. Our dog has gotten out of his electronic fence twice. Both time we were able to find him quickly due to the GPS

I have a Husky, and when they escape they run forever. It's no longer a probably because the tracking system is extroidanairy.

A good tracker...keeps up to date ok. The battery has started to need charging more frequently. But other than that. Good.

My beagle tends to follow his nose. This gives me great Peace of mind.

Being able to keep track of your pet and the ability to find them when lost is a great thing.
