This was the first movie steelbook I purchased. I got it for a good price and I don't regret it. This movie is a classic and the animation still holds up today.

Finally restocked this steelbook and I was able to pick up a copy. The cover art left a little to be desired but I was honestly just glad to get one.

Classic movie that was different for its time. Funny moments and the animation looks great in 4K.

This is a review of the 4k UHD Blu-ray SteelBook release, not the movie itself. However, I will say that the movie holds up well to my childhood memories, and I had a lot of fun re-watching it. Packaging - 5/5 The SteelBook cover art design is the reason I made the purchase. While I have fond recollections of this movie as a kid, I would have been content waiting for the standard edition to go on deep discount before buying. I really enjoy a good SteelBook design, and jumped at the opportunity to add it to my collection when it came back in stock. Visuals - 4/5 This is a very nice 4k restoration of a 35mm film print, and the HDR makes the animations pop. The effects still look pretty good, especially considering the age of the movie. Audio - 3/5 Nothing really noteworthy here. The 5.1 track has been updated to a 5.1 Dolby Atmos track, but I really have to strain to notice a difference (at least on my setup). Overall - 4/5

"Roger Rabbit" is a solid, but not spectacular, 4K upgrade. The film does look better than it has in years and the soundscape is good, but not great. Any "eye-popping" upgrade is probably hampered by the fact Disney limits their discs to BD-66. The best we're going to get until some boutique label gets the license.

Classic film with visual affects that age extremely well, but Best Buy's steelbooks leave a little to be desired. My copy arrived with small dints in the case, the 4k disc loose, scratched and with visible finger prints all over the disc despite it arriving factory sealed on release day. Recommended if you are able to cherry-pick your copy at the store.

I saw this in a movie theater when it first came out. Unique for its use of Disney and Warner Bros. animated characters together in the same movie. If you are a fan of the WB slapstick style, you should like this. I have only watched the Blu-ray. I had no trouble downloading the digital copy.

I'm not a huge steelbook collector, but this is one of the cooler designs out there imo. However, when ordering steelbooks from Best Buy you have a pretty high chance of receiving a damaged item and they make it a pain in the - to return so I try not to order from them.

This was a movie that I wasn't expecting a 4K release, but I was very surprised when I saw it online. The case was a big reason I got it. To anyone who wants to get a physical copy of the movie, get it with this case.

Love this movie so much. I had bought this copy not because of the steel book but of what this movie means to me. It’s a part of my childhood that I enjoyed very much. Roger Rabbit is my favorite Disney character.

Love the design of the steelbook. Although… Some day people will stop opening the shipping crates with a razor blade that scratches every single spine right across the middle. Just wasn’t this time.

Great looking picture and decent audio for a classic movie. Not a fan of the steelbook art. Especially the back cover. Take a closer look at Eddie's shadow. Terrible cropped job.

This was a interesting choice for the steelbook design. It certainly is "unique". Not terrible and certainly better than past home video covers evening dating back to laserdisc.

Decent transfer I remember this film from my childhood and had to get it in 4K. It’s been “corrected” so a couple scenes have been edited from the original VHS days.

Great film and good steelbook. It's really the first of its kind mixing live action with 2D animation. Classic zemeckis!

Amazing 4K transfer….just wish Best Buy would stop shipping steelbooks in bubble mailers as they get destroyed upon arrival.

An old favorite from my childhood, this movie looks great in 4K. Bright colors and crisp images, great presentation.

Always a lot of fun to revisit. Would love to have seen Roger rabbit return for sequels
