The blend of live-action and animation has never been as believable as in this movie. The steelbook also has a cool design. Highly recommend.

This is one of my favorite movies from my childhood. So when I saw they were releasing a 4k steelbook I ordered immediately. The steelbook looks amazing and is designed perfectly for this movie. The 4k transfer makes this movie look better than it ever has. If you’re like me and love this movie then I highly suggest owning this copy.

Great looking Steelbook for a classic film and it was finally shipped properly which was a big plus for me since I’ve had multiple issues with that in the past hopefully it wasn’t a fluke and they keep packaging our collectibles with care.

A classic fun film and one of my favorite of all times.

So strange as it sounds? I never saw this film. The film released in 1988 (the year I was born). I never got around to seeing it though I was certainly aware of it. The movie's blend of live action and animation are incredibly seamless. The restoration I can't comment too much on not haivng seen the original. It probably created a unique challenge to restore this film as both the live action and the animation probably had to see some improvements separately. The live action is likely to stand out more for it's remaster. But the film's presentation is excellent. I missed this steelbook the first time around. I saw it had appeared back in stock and I quickly snatched it up. The steelbook is a gloss finish and it's bold colors really make it pop. If you can find it for a decent price or if it goes back in stock on Best Buy again? The time to get it is when you see it because it's being scalped by resellers sadly.

Good to see this movie again after so many years. I had this on DVD but after seeing this was available in a steelbook I decided to make the upgrade. I was worried that the steelbook would be damaged en route to me as the USPS is not known for being careful with packages. Thankfully it arrived undamaged in spite of the lack of packing material in the package. Picture quality is top-notch. This was a big improvement over the previous DVD release. The steelbook was ok. I wasn't a fan of the exterior however the interior panels were quite nice. If it's still available, this is worth a buy if you haven't upgraded the previous DVD release. I hope yours arrives defect free as mine did.

I've been very excited when I heard that this movie is going to be landing on the 4k disc. I immediately preordered a copy and it's well worth it. It's been a while since I have watched this film I guess I was very young then. I still enjoyed the film. Picture quality is superb and atmos sound is just ok, I'm not surprised cause this disc came from Disney so expect an ok sound. Overall,I am happy that I purchased this this for my collection.

This is one of my favorite films! I first saw it when it was released in theaters way back in 1988. I grew up watching live-action/animation hybrids like "Mary Poppins," "Bedknobs and Broomsticks," and even "Pete's Dragon." But none of them were as ambitious or as clever as this classic! I highly recommend this tremendous film that truly revolutionized how movies are made. Now available in a fantastic 4K steelbook edition, I highly recommend this to anyone. Two thumbs way up!

If any movie needed a 4k steelbook this is it....this is a great edition to the steelbook collection and any movie lover should own this ahead of it's time animated/live action love letter to toons and noir film of the 1920's -50's with the perfect mixture of comedy and seriousness to pull a rabbit out the hat ...see what I did there....love this film love this steelbook

This is a really fun steelbook for an equally fun and entertaining film. I grew up with Roger Rabbit so for me, the nostalgia factor is high on this one. The steelbook has a nice, glossy finish, the colors are vibrant, and the artwork used for both the inside and outside is very well done. I would definitely recommend adding this one to your steelbook collection!
