I’ve been using the WHOOP 5.0 for a while now, and I’m genuinely impressed. This device goes far beyond basic fitness tracking. Was a very good product and the data is pretty reliable. The AI feature makes sure you reach your stress and strain scores and push yourself to become a better person. The band is very flexible and dries fast. This is a very comfortable device compared to the older gen whoop 4.0. Easy to sleep and take baths with it on my wrist. The charging lasts for more than 2 weeks and I’m very impressed with it. Overall it’s my best buy in BestBuy :)

4 Stars — Great tracker, but the subscription needs to offer more I’ve been using WHOOP for a few years now and have really enjoyed how well it tracks my health and fitness metrics. The data is useful, and I’ve been impressed with how much the app has evolved and improved over the last few years. The newer insights and overall app experience make it a genuinely valuable tool for staying on top of recovery, sleep, strain, and overall wellness. My biggest issue is the renewal price. At the cost of the membership, I think consumers should be getting more included beyond the wearable and app experience. For example, integrating things like periodic bloodwork or more comprehensive health testing into the membership would make the price feel much more justified and would take WHOOP from a fitness tracker to a more complete health platform. Overall, I really like WHOOP and think it’s one of the better products in this space, but the increasingly steep subscription cost makes me expect more value as a consumer.

I first bought the 4.0 and didn't renew my subscription because I felt like I had learned how my body recovered and responded to light/heavy strain days. I bought the 5.0 because I was curious about the Healthspan feature which supposedly compares your Whoop age with your actual physical age. I figure if I could see what habits or activities make me age faster, I'd have direct insight on what I should change. I don't expect it to be an exact calculation but it can identify a trend which is really what I'm looking for. All the insights are great. I will say that it's heavy on data which hardcore athletes will appreciate. That's not me, but it does tell me the basics like sleep, stress, sleep, etc and all the extra data is a deeper dive into those stats. But it's accurate in displaying how I feel the next day after a workout. The down side is that the straps leave much to be desired. Short straps: The original band that it came with is so short. If you have large wrists like I do, you may find that the band is too short like it almost was for me. I'm not aware if the bands come in different lengths but something to consider. Widening clasp: If you have to change bands (for whatever reason) the clasp with the pins on the sides that lodge into the device can widen with each swap. You have to be mindful of that because then it might not securely lock your tracker in place. It looks off when you see space between the tracker and clasp when it's been inadvertently widened when you swap out bands. You have to pinch it back into place. Annoying but I guess that's ok for now. Pricey Bands: If you hate wearing wet bands and have to switch to another band after a workout, you'll need to pay $40+ for another band. They look great. But it is hard paying that much for what's essentially a band. They do offer more pricey straps but the focus shifts from function to fashion at that point. All in all, I like it. There are many more features that you can read about on their site but in the end, the positives outweigh the negatives for me so I'm happy with it.

Overall I really enjoy this wristband. Due to my major in school, I’ve been dealing with fitness in a state of high stress. This band is light, In fact it is the only accessory I can wear at night. I love how it isn’t flashy, but has everything I need to make sure I’m taking care of my body. If your main focus is just fitness, or if you just want to track your body, this is a great band to use!

Great tracking and battery life can be used in harsh conditions too

There is definitely a difference in tracking between the peak model ( top of the line) and the models below. Number of calories burned and steps were significantly less on the mid tier compared against an apole ultra and Garmin. The peak model tracking was very similar to Garmin and Apple devices.

I like this product a lot, but I think I prefer a smart watch instead. I don't love the membership basis of the app for it, and I feel like the way it reads the data it collects is a little bit of a racket. I don't need a full smart watch, but there are things I like having a screen/gps for, like being able to have a phone alternative for safety when I am swimming or running. The battery life and charging mechanism are really cool for this though, and I could certainly see the appeal for others.

The strain and stress metrics help me know when to push hard and when to back off, so I'm training smarter, not just harder. Since using Whoop 5.0, I've built better habits: more consistent sleep, better hydration, and I actually listen to my body now. My energy, focus, and performance are all up. If you care about real data and real change, Whoop 5.0 is worth it.

Love the 5.0 compared to my 4.0 band. Battery life last much longer and the feel of a slimmer design is great on my wrist! LOVE!

Absolutely love it. However, I did want to replace the band the coreknit is all right but I wanted something a bit more upgraded. In addition get the rubber version as it won't absorb as much sweat and get all smelly. Was on my right wrist for a little bit but didn't really fit super well so I switched the Whoop over to my left wrist and now I just wear all my watches on my right which is "backwards" but the data is very accurate on any wrist and it still works and fits really well!

Everything I wanted out of it - tracks my sleep, V02, heart rate, and never had any hardware issues.
