This AC unit would have 5 stars if the hose that pumps the hot air out would fit nicely into the hole. Every week I have to duct tape the hose to the hole so it won't slide out. It was very frustrating at first, but once you have that done and the cold air is filling up your living room, it's all worth it. Not very noisy, but not very quiet either. Overall, I am happy with my purchase.

As expected from a portable unit, this was a bit noisy, but it is very efficient and cools well. It takes up minimum space and is very easy to operate

Works great right out of the box. AC units can be really noisy, but this is not so bad. A window kit is included, but did not really work for me since I have non-typical windows. Still, I was able to jerry-rig a setup using one of the provided pieces that seems to be working fine. The remote is handy and gives good control of the unit.

Great portable AC. Comes with the whole kit, I was able to install it on my sliding window (side to side). Cools the room pretty quick, my room size is the master bedroom of my house and it is a decent size room. Kind of loud and maybe hard to sleep through if you're a light sleeper. My bill didn't go up too high and I used this AC almost everyday in the summer. I have no regrets in buying this product! Highly recommend!

I bought a bigger unit than the specs recommended because I wanted overflow cooling. This unit was easy to set up, has great features, and works perfectly. I wish I had it sooner. Best Buy did not make it easy.

This is a great air conditioner for my small craft room. I think it'd be ok for a larger room too. The window kit is the best, didn't need to screw or duct tape things together! I have it in a sideways slider window and the window kit stays there when I open the window.

Great product. Cools the room very well. room is about 300 sq ft. It is slightly noisy, but more quiet tan most dehumidifiers. Window exhaust kit was as simple as pie.

The air conditioner is perfect for cooling down a bedroom. Easy install in the window. Quiet for what it is doing.

Using just in small bedroom, 10x10 and it cools the room quickly. Not too noisy and does not need to be drained. We are happy with this machine.

The unit works well (although a little to noisy for a sleeping room). The major issue is the draining of the water. I thought that the water was recycled back into the unit which is not the case. I bought the unit for the very reason no bucket or drain was necessary. My mistake! The fan runs continuously while the unit is on (and does not cycle off/on like other AC units). The window kit was sturdy and easy-to-use.

Product arrived quickly, the parts are solid, especially the window kit. We had purchased a more expensive brand before, and their window kit components were flimsy. Besides, it didn't work. This one was powerful enough and cooled the room quickly. nice unit.

The unit is a little bit loud, but it works great!

I purchased this item because I wanted to cool off a 250 foot room (my music conservatory). It doesn't cool the room down quickly enough so I find I have to turn it on about 45 minutes before I want to use the room. Additionally, this unit and all other such portable units aren't designed to work with casement windows, so it cost me an additional $187 to have a special lexan window that was designed to accommodate the output to the outside.

Good unit for small room. It has all basic functions.I have to return it as it was small for my room.

I bought this for the hot summer in Hawaii. It is so big and heavy. I cant sleep if I turn it on. Even it is on low and it still loud for my bedroom. So I return it and buy one cost $499.99, but it still loud. I need to think of getting one of those separated A/C unit.

This is a very good portable AC. It's easy to assemble, easy to use. Strong cool air which is enough for a small bedroom. It's quite heavy though, but pre-installed wheels make it easy to move.

I use this for a medium sized bedroom on the humidity TX gulf Coast and works great! I like it very cold at night and this thing could cool of a commercial freezer. You will need a way to drain condensation from the unit, like a small bucket or sink/floor drain. Does make some fan/condenser noise, but it's good white noise.
