Customers commend the 32-Bottle Wine Cooler's temperature control, noting its ability to maintain even temperatures suitable for both red and white wines, and its dual temperature zones. However, some customers feel the quality of the shelves and overall construction could be improved. The product's value proposition is questioned by some based on perceived lower-quality materials.

Nice little wine refrigerator.
The good – holds 32 bottles. 2 temperature zones. Riesling bottles will fit on the bottom of the fridge. Looks good. Nice interior light.
The ify – shelves are little cheap feeling. Larger width bottles don’t fit (regular sized bottle fit exactly). Only 4 Riesling bottles fit (so 2 are in a different temp zone). If the power goes out for even a split second, the temps reset to 64 degrees on both sides so put it on a battery backup.
Overall, I’m glad we got it. Now I’m looking for a bigger one.

The unit looks great and the dual zone is a nice feature but the cooling ability is very average. Minimum cooling setting is 46 but it never reaches that level. 51 is as cool as it will actually go. Works fine for chilling wines but a beer isn't cold enough.

This wine refrigerator holds up to 32 bottles and is pleasing to the eye. I did however expect a little better quality, it's made on the cheaper side of things.

9 months after I purchased this product one side of the unit stopped working. Realizing it was under warranty I contacted Whynter the manufacturer whom requested I send their services department pictures of the unit so they can try and blame me for not properly placing the unit in a well ventilated area. After I disagreed with their accusation (the unit was 6 inches away from any wall and free from all foreign objects) I was requested to disassemble the back of the unit and take more pictures. It was requested that I replace a fuse on the circuit board and determine if the heat syncs were hot (they were - ouch!). I was finally informed that they believe the unit needed a circuit board replaced and I had 2 options: I could ship the unit back to them for repair or I could have a repair technician come out and install it as it requires soldering. When I asked about reimbursement they offered a (potential) shipping discount but it would still be expensive (shipping the unit back at my expense would incur a cost of over $150) and they will only reimburse me up to $65 for the repair (though there’s not a repair service in my area that would even entertain sending a technician out for less than $100). I have unlimited resources to spend troubleshooting an inferior product so I scheduled to have a technician come out to install the replacement part. That did not fix the issue but guess what? Having the technician perform the repair services voided my warranty. Could you believe it? What a clever little loophole. So now I have a $500 piece of junk I can’t even throw away without incurring more cost. This company does not value their customers or stands by the quality of their product so please do yourself a favor and purchase a refrigerator from a manufacturer you can trust.

Holds plenty of bottles. Shelves are a little tight but removeable so you can adjust as needed. Keeps cold and even temps. Good size unit that will work for a most needs. Worth getting.

Frustrated with Whynter

Purchased this item in Apr 2015, put in service in Aug 2015. Ambient Temp of 68-72 degrees. Quit cooling on the right side in Oct or Nov 2015 just outside the warranty period. I called Customer Service on 12/13/16, and they said parts would cost approx. $90, plus I would have to pay for shipping both directions, costing over $300 w/tax still not knowing if it will work.I would look for a manufacturer that backs their product. WORST investment I have made in 67 years.

Came damaged TWICE

I've written this review a couple times before so I've changed the rating from 1 (for REALLY REALLY TERRIBLE) to a 2. It is my belief that if I give it a "1" rating again, consumers will not be allowed to see it.
Every rating should be a "1" except for features. It had the ability to be a fantastic product, but it was BROKEN UPON DELIVERY!!!
I reordered and it was damaged again.
The first time there was a 1" slice in the back interior of the fridge, the second time it appeared as though I was shipped a product that was dragged on its hinge until it broke.
Returning was a hassle as a mail order item could not be taken back to the store, even though I was told by on-line customer support I could... drove through a snow storm to get to my local Best Buy.
Whynter managed to corrupt my opinion of Best Buy.
Horrible.
