The dehumidifier works very well which means it needs to be emptied often. It is much quieter then the Frigidaire unit it replaced. I am unsure of the longevity due to owning it only two months. So far so good.

I turn on the unit during the night and since installing it, I have had no moisture build up at all. My windows are dry and the mold has been controlled. My only complaint is that the unit while compact and cosmetically pleasant, is noisy while working. Good value for the price!

Ran steady for 3 days, then the humidity was reduces to 35% and it began to cycle on/off; just like it is supposed to. Hooked it up to a drain and now it takes care of itself.

The bucket doesnt hold much and it fills up pretty quickly. This might be due to my basement though. 2. The hose they give you is so short its pretty useless unless youre over a drain. Buy a hose if you want to use that option.

Watching TV with this dehumidifier on is very possible without having to crank up the volume too much.

I have a drain hose connected so it doesn't use the bucket. It does remove enough water so the central A/C doesn't have to run in dehumidifier mode.
