As everyone who isn't living in a cave knows, Windows 7 is the next best OS to XP. I suppose I should withold judgement on 10, but from what I have seen so far, its GUI is a blend of 7 and 8. I'm not a fan of 8, and the only reason I moved up to seven is because software I need isn't supported in XP. But for those like me who don't want the latest and greatest till the bugs are out, these copies if 7 are the ticket. Better get them while you can though. Bill is trying hard to eliminate any of his old software.

Program was easy to install and replace my old XP3 operating system. Took some time to add all the updates to Windows 7 and the other programs in my computer. Getting a lot of Ads for programs I do not need. Over all Windows 7 is better then the XP3.

I've used Win 7 in many client work environments, but never had a pressing need to upgrade my own ThinkPads from Win XP until now. I may get more familiar with Win 7 before upgrading BOTH ThinkPads to the FREE Win 10.

It was easy to install and use. I will tell others to get it from Best Buy.

I have windows 7 on my computer and is easy to navigate. My husband just upgraded his laptop due to having XP. That had to be done by someone else. Will let you know if everything is compatable and transferred.

Just what I needed. Clean installed, updated fully, then allowed Windows 10 to install. Very satisfied.

Installed Windows 7 on older Dell Optiplex755, without any dramas. Good show, that desktop is good to go.

thought win 7 would be hard to use but it is not to bad and I am not a computer whiz.

Had a crash on boot file in Vista and wasn't able to retrieve updates. Upgraded to Windows 7 Pro 32-bit. It runs like a champ.

Other than, of course, XP Professional VLK. But Win 7 Pro is noticably faster. Installation was pretty much idiot-proof as usual, but I build systems using HD trays which makes it easy to pop in a new SATA drive and set it up. The only glitch this time was that the online activation failed, and I had to do the phone call in thing. No biggie.

The Windows 7 Professional software was purchased to resolve the issues with Windows XP becoming obsolete. It was easy to install with the help of the Upgrading from Windows XP to Windows 7 Instructions from Microsoft which I would not have been successful in getting things changed over without them. Once installed the instructions walked you through everything that needed to be done for your system to operate correctly. Windows 7 is very similar to Windows 8 and takes some familiarization to navigate through it. However, once you learn how it works, it is very beneficial to your upgrades. My computer is faster and working fine!

I was forced to update from Windows XP. I chose Windows 7 professional because I absolutely refuse to use Windows 8 or 8.1

Great product for price. Very useful for my smart home setup.

Very easy install & works as good as previous Windows versions. Be forewarned it comes in DVD format & you must do a clean install so backup your files. The only issue I had was the scratch off label over the (very important to register the product) product code didn't scratch off very easily making some of the product code illegible. I had to make 2 phone calls to Microsoft to resolve the product code issue.

Delivered on time and as usual the packaging was a bit over the top. That aside all went well.

Clean-installed Windows 7 Pro with no problem. Activated it without a hitch. This pakage is not for upgrading from Vista or WXP. Rather, it is intended for a clean installation on a clean (formatted) disk drive.

My job requires the use of the 32 bit version of Windows. We have older software that won't work on the 64 bit platform so we are forced to go this route. It installs fine, but of course it takes a while to do all the updates.
