Upgraded to Win7 64-bit due to being a gamer and having a need for DX11 functionality after upgrading to a new GTX-760 SC. Considering this is an OEM version, the price is a bit high, but it's an official copy and activated without issue.

I upgraded from Vista and WOW what a difference. My laptop now acts new again. It was easy to install and set up.

I bought this to upgrade my XP machine. I read on MS site that when windows 10 is released I can get a free upgrade if I desire. You cannot lose on this deal. Check it out yourself.

To date Windows 7 is my favorite MS operating system. Having a clean copy with no computer manufacturer bloatware added is nice. It does take a while for all the updates to download and install. Using on a MacMini with Apple Boot Camp.

I was running win 7 home premium and with windows 10 coming out I want to upgrade to the pro version, but in order to do that you need the pro version of current OS. I am happy with the upgrade to win 7 pro I may stick with it for a while

Needed to upgrade from Windows Vista before Microsoft ended support. This was a seamless and cost effective transition to windows 7 Professional. Did the clean install with no issues. New OS is working great!

MS Windows 7 Pro just works. I am running it under VMWare on my MacBook Pro for running applications that will run only under MS Windows. I gave it 4 stars, because it is not as stable and as efficient as Mac OS X running on top of Linux.

It is easy to use and cleans up extremely well. It's only short coming is it's shorter battery life lasting 20 - 40 minutes depending on it's power setting. I would strongly recommend it.

I bought this to install on my custom built PC with the goal of being able to do the free upgrade to Windows 10 Pro 64bit! This met my goal and I am very happy with the choice. Cheers!

While this product served my purposes in getting Win7 licenses for a project I was working on, the box in the picture is very misleading, implying that this is a full commercial copy of Win7 Pro. It is not. It is an OEM installation CD. While it can be installed pretty much normally - the instructions imply you need to use OEM tools (you don't.) Worse, for many people, this license will tie to the first hardware you install it on. No moving it from computer to computer as you change hardware. Finally, since it's OEM, Microsoft will not provide customer support. That's not really much of an issue for most people as they don't go to Microsoft for support anyway. But it could be a LOT more clear what your buying.

I bought this Windows 7 so I can use it with my 2010 MacBook pro (partitioned). Reason why Windows 7 is because it's compatible with my PC-based applications that I used. Now, my family can use the Mac majority of the time and not have to worry about getting a virus, but if I need to Windows, Win7 is there for me. Win10 is great but some apps are not yet compatible. Win7 works!

Lots of people who rate this don't don't read the description. It's exactly as stated, in great condition, with code and all. The only downside is they don't include the case, just a small sleeve.

Works good with my laptop but because of the age and hardware in my Gateway the sound is an issue. I have to do a restart for the sound to work if the computer has gone to sleep.

Very familiar with Windows 7 operations. Wanted a system that is easy to use and reliable.

I wish Windows would have just upgraded this OS... it is far better than Windows 10.

The package of discs with certification key arrived, and had no problem loading into my PC. Beware of same/similar products sold on via on-line resources that will provide discs, but without official MS cert key.

Pleased at the installation and improved functionality, but not pleased that all of my files were deleted. The staff at the Broomfield store is competent, but hugely over worked and the counter and tech service is severely understaffed. I had to wait 45 min for a tech service rep on both ends of the transaction (drop off and diagnosis, and pick up). Very poor service.
