I was not able to get reception with this. I had hoped it would work well, as it had a very long chord which allowed me to stretch it practically across my whole apartment. I have always had trouble getting reception in my apartment due to the direction my unit faces, and the interference from buildings near by. In the end, I wound up going with a more basic, typical antenna.

GOOD
-Good reception / amplification
-Dual black/white colors can help it blend in with room colors
BAD
-Far too expensive
-Problematic app
-Fixed cable length / non-modular design
TL/DR
The PureTV Pro 60 big selling point is the Bluetooth app, which is quite flawed and only situationally helpful. While the amplified reception is good, it's no better than other amplified indoor antennas costing half as much.
DETAILS
I don't have a satellite or cable TV subscription so over-the-air broadcast is the only live TV I can get. I've used various TV antennas over the years with varying success. While outdoor antennas tend to get better reception, installing them isn't an option for people renting homes and apartments, or who have physical difficulty getting on a roof or ladder. Amplified indoor antennas can be a great alternative in those cases.
In this way, Winegard's PureTV Pro 60 does a great job receiving OTA broadcasts in my area. Even in the downstairs rooms of my house where the antenna is only a couple feet above ground level, reception and signal quality to my TV is superb. Unfortunately that's about all the good I can say about the antenna. The coax is fixed between the antenna element, amplifier unit, and F connector for the TV. It's a generous length for mounting the antenna in the same area as your TV. But in a medium sized room where the Antenna is maybe six feet away from the TV, you have a few feet of cox to coil up and hide out of side. But if you have particularly tall ceilings and want the antenna as high up as possible for best reception, the amplifier brick will be hanging halfway up the wall. It also makes it tricky to mount the antenna pad in the attic or an upstairs room and then run coax to your TV room.
The big marketing point is that the antenna has a Bluetooth radio, which can communicate with your phone to give you some more detailed info on how well the antenna is receiving local signals. And this mobile app is rather frustrating to use. Despite being called "Winegard - Connected", on Android it's listed only as "Connected." So if you can't find the app after installing it, check under the C's. Second, in order to use it at all, you have to create an account with Winegard. Some people may not find this a hassle, but some people don't want to give a name, phone number, email address, and home address to a company just to get a one-time signal strength readout.
Worst of all, I couldn't get it to work at all until after spending a lot of time with Winegard's customer and tech support. I tried multiple phones, both iPhone and Android, by multiple manufacturers. It took over a week to get it working, and if the reviews on the respective mobile app stores are anything to go by, this is a fairly common problem.
Once working, it's very slow to load. Eventually you get a map showing your location relative to the local TV broadcast antennas and a report of how many channels the antenna is receiving, along with their respective signal strength, but you can't view it all at the same time. You can either get a numerical count of channels received, grouped by strong, moderate, and poor strength, or you can get a detailed list showing reception strength of individual channels. So far as I could tell, you can't sort the detailed list in any way. It also takes about a minute between each full refresh of the data, so you have to wait a bit between each antenna reposition to see which mounting point will work better.
My home is 40 miles away from the main broadcast antenna cluster and I was able to pick up pretty much every channel. But the Pro 60 didn't pick up any channel I couldn't already get with my existing amplified indoor antenna. I live in a mountainous region where the TV broadcast clusters are on peaks, which changes line-of-sight characteristics. But whether in my upstairs bedrooms or half underground downstairs on the far end of the house away from the broadcast source, I could get just as many stations, at just as good picture quality, with my other antenna that was half as expensive. And that antenna uses F connectors between the antenna element and the amp.
To someone who hasn't used a good indoor amplified antenna, the Pro 60 may seem fantastic, and in some cases it is. However the fantastic features can be found in far less expensive antennas that are much more flexible in how they can be installed. Instead you're paying a lot of extra money for a feature that you'll likely only use one time. And that feature seems possibly superfluous considering many TVs today already can display the received channel's signal strength.
For people who don't know much about their homes, or are maybe in an apartment and don't know how it was constructed, the app can be useful. But if you know even a little about antennas, you don't need a magic app to find good TV reception if you follow a few basic guidelines. The higher you can hang it, usually the better. Don't hang the antenna close to other large metal surfaces ( air ducts, water pipe clusters, etc ). Find where the local broadcast towers are, it's an easy internet search. Then angle the antenna pad so the face is pointing directly toward the towers, or as close as you reasonably can. Had Winegard just included those tips in the instructions and made a simple app that displayed your location relative to broadcast towers without needing to create an account, it would have been much cheaper and more compelling product.

I tried three other antennas. This was the best antenna for me. My system is only going to receive up to 48 channels no matter if the product says up to 120 channels. Best Buy had no problems taking my products back until I found the one that works best for me.

Very good HD antenna. I cut the cable company out 3 years ago. Saving me 2,000 per year. Use the HD antenna for tv add my t-mobile samsung s21 phone and the 40 gb of hot spot to deal with the internet. I don't need 500 channels of junk that I have to pay way too much for. Set your self free and get one of these.
