Before buying this product Be aware If you do not get ota tv, this will not magically give you ota tv. This device works very well, I have bought 3 over the years. Reliable and stable. Also use the is cable provided, the device gets a but warm

Works great and easy setup but does not receive analog cable channels, just the digital ones (with the dash between two sets of numbers).

Works great w shieldtv. Live Android TV app. Better on PC I do see that if u access it with Plex it disables from live Android vtv app and needs to be replugged in to USB port to be recognized

Love the main product as it works great. It did not come with the installation CD as advertised. Had to go online and download instead. I've not been able to get the remote to work but not a major deal to me.

This a great tuner. I get excellent reception with the included anttanea. The only improvement I could suggest for the product is to provide a better user interface for the software and recoding functions.

I bought this to replace the one I've had for several years which got zapped by a nearby lightning strike. This one is even better, since it has dual tuners, which allow me to record one channel while watching another or record 2 channels at the same time. And it happened to be on sale when I needed it, which made the deal even sweeter.

Great alternative for a cable tv. You need a good antenna to receive around 40 local channels.

I purchased this to replace a "Diamond TVW750USB ATI Theater HD 750 USB TV Tuner" that was constantly losing connection, getting kind of hot and disappearing from my device manager on occasion. This was only about $20.00 more but has dual tuners and free software(Wintv). The tuner works flawlessy for me on HTPC running win 8.1 w/WMC. The software is lacking. it crashes about every fourth time i try to use it. Since WMC can record 4 programs at once I'm not too concerned with the poor software, but may be checking out NEXTPVR to replace the WinTV software

Unit quit working after the 15 day return policy but the manufacture replaced it

Have several of the Hauppauge USB tuners in use and have never had a problem with any of them. One is several years old and has been in use/connected to a computer which is always on since it was new and it has never failed. I have two connected to two computers to record over the air television programs to watch when I have time. Those two are connected to an outdoor antenna cable at my home. They work like a DVR. I set them up to take the place of Media Center when Microsoft kills it on Windows 7. I think the USB tuners are great! They work great on a laptop also as long as you have an over the air signal with the antenna that comes in the set.

This is a good substitute for s DVR. we used it to record the Super Bowl.
