Another great HBO show that you have to see. Only five seasons so worth the time to see them all. On sale at best buy. com for a good price. Cops, drug dealers, teachers, newspapers, unions, it covers it all in Baltimore. Great cast!!!!

The Wire is SO GREAT. Season 4 is all about the impact of the drug trade on the school system. So we see the kids in school, the admin and teachers, and the funding of the schools. So good, not the best season but top notch.

This is a must watch from begging to end! HBO has some of the best shows on tv. The characters, and the plots will have you wanting more.

The wire was absolutey one of the best if not best series HBO had, in my opinion. A must see!!

Have you ever sat back at the end of an incredible movie and couldn't even talk for a bit because you had to think about what you'd just seen? That's exactly how you'll feel at the end of every season of The Wire. Individual episodes are all brilliant, but it's at the end of each season, when you've had a chance to reflect on how all of the interwoven story lines came together, that you truly appreciate this show. Simply the best TV show ever made.

The fourth season in where the wire raised the bar when they added Naimon, and Micheal, and randy. This showed the streets a lil closer and thru the eyes of the youth. Marlo is still on top. Avon is still locked up. And Omar is angry and unstoppable. the thing like the most is it never goes the way we want it to, it happens like thes streets

The wire is the best series I have seen a long time! Every storyline is outstanding!! I watched the first episode on demand at about 9pm at night. I was instantly hooked and sat up until 3am to finish the whole season!!!!

This is the greatest season of the greatest show ever! This season follows the corner kids while focusing on the inner city education system. I would recommend this season over any other to those who want to get a quick taste of the wire.

I recommend that you start with The first season...and I guarantee you will be hooked....it has some of everything for everyone. Not the ordinary cop show...ITS HBO!!!!
