Customers are saying

Customers love the SCANWATCH's impressive battery life and the availability of ECG and oximeter features. Many appreciate its elegant design and accurate health tracking capabilities, including sleep and heart rate monitoring. However, some users wish for a built-in GPS and a larger screen. The step counter's accuracy has also been a point of concern for a few customers.

I'm really glad I decided to get this watch because it helps me want to do more when it comes to walking and monitoring my health. I have high blood pressure, and I can use all the help I could get. I really like the fact that this watch monitors my steps and I find myself trying to walk more just to improve my count. I also like the fact that it monitors my heartbeat and my breathing patterns. I still haven't found a way to get the afib to work, and maybe it's something I'm doing wrong, but everything else I have gotten to work. I really love how it tells me about my sleep pattern and how many times it's interrupted during the night, and how deep and how light I sleep. I'm averaging about 7 hours of Total sleep. The one thing that I really don't like is when you get a call or email to your watch, it has such a small window that when the clock arms are in front of it, you barely can read it. Other than that, I believe it's great and would recommend it to anyone who is serious about improving their health and exercise.

Seriously awesome. Not only does this look good, it’s got some really cool heart monitoring features. It takes EKG’s, and can read the O2 level in your blood. It also detects sleep apnea if you wear it to bed. Battery last up to 30 days. I’m only 40 but I worry about my heart health and I feel more comfortable wearing this scan watch. The app is intuitive, easy to use. Comes with a cool case. It’s also lightweight for a 42mm face. I love this watch! I would buy again and I’m thinking about buying one for my Dad. One thing I forgot to mention, this watch will also randomly watch for heart beat irregularities while wearing it and will alert you if it thinks something is wrong. It really does help with peace of mind for people like me who get irregular heartbeats from time to time. Don’t wear this watch if you are a Dodgers fan during the World Series lol

The Withings Scanwatch is a hybrid health monitor, a job it does well. The watch itself is durable, with a stainless steel body and sapphire crystal so it should be durable and scratch resistant. The watch band is plastic but designed for easy replacement so you can quickly change it for leather or stainless steel as the mood strikes you. It has a traditional analog face with two differences. At 12 o'clock is a display screen, which displays alerts, the watch crown enables you to scroll through the various functions of the watch. At 6 o'clock is an activity dial which provides you with a visual representation of the percentage of a pre-set goal that you have achieved. Setup was quick and easy. First you download the Health Mate app, which will guide you through the setup of the watch. Pair the watch with the app and it will allow you to select and download the apps to download to the watch. I have already received my first update, which added a breathing/relaxation app to the watch. Navigation is carried out through the watch crown. Use the crown to select the function and then press in to activate it. On an ongoing basis, the watch will monitor your heart rate and step rate. When an abnormality in the heart rate is detected, the watch should prompt you to perform an ECG, which you can then save and send to your doctor. The watch also enables you to test your blood oxygen level and what it is reporting seems to be right in line with reports I have gotten from the doctor. The watch will also monitor and rate your sleep patterns and can alert you to any concerns for you to report to your doctor. Just added this morning was a breathing exercise to promote relaxation. The watch also offers a menu of activity tracking functions, I regularly use the walking function, which accurately tracks activity and heart rate, displaying it along with a map of your route. Withings claims a 30 day battery life for the watch, that is under ideal conditions. With 8 days behind me, my battery level is currently at 47% which makes me think that my battery life will be more in the 14 day range. Recharging only takes a couple of hours. This is not a traditional smart watch, it will display alerts but will not retain them for further review. It can't play music, nor does it have changeable watch faces or a full display. Instead it is an excellent health monitor and one that can be worn appropriately in dressy situations. In appearance I find it to be elegant and classy, appropriate for any setting.

Like the watch very much, I would love it if the screen was a little bit bigger, and if the staff was more Knowledgeable about the product. Thank you.

This watch was replacing a different watch from Withings. It is a very nice update and I think it is a wonderful watch. The only reason I would want to go 4.5 stars is I lost some customizable workout types and you cannot use the EKG or Oxygen level features well in workout mode. It is very accurate and the notifications work well. Not relating to quality, I wish I had gotten the black face as that is what I am used to.

Don’t buy stuff from this company! Poor product quality and MUCH worse customer service. Just spent 7 weeks emailing daily with customer service over a watch that stopped working only two months after purchase. In the end, they offered a discount on my next purchase that was less than what you get for signing up a new email! When I finally got my new watch, it was also broken! Will never buy from this company again. Try garmin!

    AWFULL Customer Support!!

The watch worked great for about 90 days and I was mostly happy with it. Then moisture found its way under the bezel. I have tried finding a phone number for Customer Support and it seems to be non existent. I did come across a CS forum on the Withings website and every comment in the forum complained about the Non-Existant customer service. It seems to only exist by email and email responses were taking 7-10 days. AWFULL!!
