I'm always on the lookout for healthcare apps so when I saw this one I jumped on it right away.
Have been reading about sleep studies at Stanford University so was curious about my condition.
Sleep Score on the app makes it easy to tell how I’m doing.
Not ready interested in linking my bedroom’s Philip Hue light bulb to app but may try it someday.
Mat makes it easy to move it to a different place from time to time.
App was easy to understand. You do have to wait overnight for app to calibrate your sleep info.
Be sure to explore all the features on the app and visit go.withings.com for more details. You can visit the Play Store for more info if on Android. Or go to the App Store if on iOS.
For assistance there is an online forum you can use.
You will also get helpful email beginning immediately.

I suspected I have sleep issues for some time now. In fact - I was about to make an appointment for a sleep study when I was offered this may to try. It was super easy to install - although lifting my king size Casper mattress was a bit difficult, paired easily with my phone and honestly - I don't even think about it. The best part is there is nothing to wear, nothing to charge, nothing to worry about! Unbox, position, plug in, calibrate and sleep!
I've had it less than a week - so I'll update this review over time with my results. My first results show a low sleep score - 20-30 range. It's hard to relate to accurate reading yet - and plan to re-position it a bit, recalibrate and see how it goes. It seem be accurately tracking any bathroom trips, but seems odd on the "time to get up" or "snoozing" - but we'll see with time.
Overall - I really want to like this product - and so far, it seems accurate and easy to use. I'm excited to spend a few more weeks on it and see if it can help me improve my sleep quality!

Withings has always been ahead of the game when it comes to health products and this product is no exception. It is easy to set up and works with the Withings app and even works with other Withings products. I used their wireless blood pressure cuff when it first was released and also their scales and this product works together with those others to deliver data on sleep quality as it relates to health. This device fits under a mattress and you would never even know it is there and provides data on sleep routines and even snoring patterns. Very insightful data and very useful device.

My mom suffered from sleep apnea and had surgery years ago but I noticed that she seems to have some of the same symptoms (breathing disturbances throughout the night, increased snoring, sleeping for hours but waking up exhausted) so I thought this might give us a clue on how she’s really sleeping. This gives a ton of data on your sleep for the night. My suspicions about sleep disturbances were correct, even on nights where she got a good sleep score. We’re going to track a little longer to get more data and present it to her doctor to see if there is something we need to be concerned about. If you really want to know what’s going on while you’re sleeping (like how long you reach REM or deep sleep, how often you’re having any disturbances if at all, etc) then this is definitely worth checking out. The only bad thing we noticed is that it doesn’t seem to continue tracking if she gets up in the middle of the night and then goes back to bed. Not sure if this is normal but it was surprising because one of the nights that this happened meant that her sleep data wasn’t accurate for that night.

I've been using my Fitbit to track my sleep patterns for the past five years. It has done a great job; however, I hate wearing watches, especially to sleep, so when I saw the Withings mat I wanted to give it a shot. Early indications show that it does a decent job.
I started using the Withings Sleep Mat last week and have been comparing the data with what I am getting from Fitbit. Overall, the data is consistent on duration, depth of sleep, and sleep times. I believe the Fitbit app visualizes the data better than Withings, but I think the Withings is newer to the game, so perhaps it is just a matter of updating the app to be more user friendly.
One area that Withings wins without competition is in the IoT space. I have been trying to get my Fitbit to take actions based upon sleep...for example, fade off the lights when I go to sleep. I have not been able to get that to automatically happen though. With the Withings Sleep mat, I configured it using IFTTT to automatically fade the lights off and lower the temp after I get into bed. I plan to setup some more actions based upon getting into bed, such as arming my security cameras and maybe fading lights on when I get up.
Overall, I like the mat and the additional IoT options you get with the app. I recommend this product.

What I've been looking for

I have been looking for something that would help me monitor my sleep patterns. Yes, my watch will do this however this is also the same time that I have it on the charger because the battery is at 10% by the end of the day. I was initially skeptical about how this would work and would it make my sleep uncomfortable. As it turns out, I don't even know it's there. It slides in between the mattress and the box-spring/foundation. For the record, I have a memory foam mattress and this works like a champ! Once you get it in place, plug in the included USB adapter and then go to your mobile device to download the app. Once the app is installed and the initial configuration is complete, it will let you know, the only thing you have to do now is go to sleep. I wake up the next morning and pull up the app and it shows me how long I've slept, my average depth of sleep; Deep, REM and light and how much I had of each. It also shows if you had any interruptions during the night, how many and when. It even has the ability to show how long it took you to fall asleep. And if you snore, guess what, it will let you know about that as well. I don't know how it does this but it is quite amazing! What I really love about this is once it is installed, I don't have to do anything except go t sleep! If only they could do something similar for exercise!

Not impressed yet

As a sleep tracker, this seems to work well. I know exactly how much sleep I am getting and it seems to be accurate regarding the quality of sleep. However, there is not much to do about it at the moment. The app says that some major new features are coming in the near future. I am really looking forward to seeing what they have to offer.
Setup is extremely easy. The app initially connects via Bluetooth but then configures the mat to use WiFi and upload data automatically to the servers. This means that I do not have to do anything except look at reports. No downloading or uploading required. Everything just happens.
While the data is not helping me, the added feature of integrating with the smart home is appealing. By getting in or out of bed, the action can trigger events such as turning lights on or off, adjusting the thermostat, and many others still to come. The list is continuously expanding as people think of new uses.
Overall, I am not impressed yet. But I see a lot of potential for this device. In the coming weeks or months, I really look forward to the new features. Hopefully it will be worth the price. Until I see some true benefits, I am not able to recommend it.

I knew I wasn't the one snoring! Ok maybe it is me but the pad doesn't pick up on it.
This pad goes under the mattress and monitors things such as light sleep, REM etc. and doe it very well. I really like that it seamlessly connects to my wifi scales so that I have all the info I need in one spot. Because my galaxy watch is a little to chunky to wear when i sleep, this is an excellent alternative.

Simple and Effective

This sleep mat is a great option for anyone that's looking to get more insight into their sleep habits, but may dislike the wrist band style of trackers. Setup is as simple as could be; you download their app, you place the mat under your mattress at about chest level, sync it in the app, give it 10 minutes to calibrate, and it's ready to automatically track your sleep. That's the entire process. Honestly, I'm not sure how it tracks through the mattress (in my case, it's working through a full Select Comfort mattress and a 4" memory foam topper), but it seems to be incredibly accurate. I tend to have restless sleep from time to time, and looking in the app in the morning confirms my sometimes poor level of sleep. The tracker also measures your heart rate and breathing disturbances throughout the night (and the breathing disturbances tend to align with nights of poor sleep, predictably).
As an added bonus, the app not only links with Withings line of health trackers, it also has options for linking to Samsung trackers. This is great for anyone that has a Samsung watch and uses it for workout tracking, allowing you to see a comprehensive view of your overall health in one app.
Overall, this product is great. It does what it does incredibly well and offers a non invasive way of allowing you to track your sleep for a reasonable price.

I have many Withing/Nokia products including the scale, BP cuff and thermo. This product integrates seamlessly into their app to give a full picture of your health status
While it is seamless after connecting, initial setup is not. Bluetooth pairing failed multiple time when in reality it was already connected
