Does it work as a scale? Yes. Does it do any of the other things it promises? Absolutely not. The bluetooth aspect simply does not work-even when your pairing device is less than a foot away. The scale just roils and churns, and never connects. I have sent multiple emails to the company, but have not received any response. If you look at the body fat % reading on the scale, and have a body fat % done by a reputable provider, the two scores will be wildly mismatched. Withings could be a very good company, but it just isn't, based on this product. I do not recommend spending your money on this item.

Ended up returning this scale for the next model down/less expensive model. This one would weigh 3-7 pounds different each time I stepped on it. Was on a flat surface, changed batteries, etc so took it back.

The scale itself is accurate but the fat % and bmi constantly vary from time to time. Plus it consistently loses wifi and Bluetooth connection

I would not recommend this or any other Withings product. At first they work great, and then where there is a complication or failure of the product, NO ONE from customer service will respond to you. They don't communicate at all. I have trashed every Withings product I have ever purchased. This scale worked for 3 months before it went into the trash as no one from Withings would help me to get it replace.

I returned the Withings scale after setup as I perceived the quality of the build was poor. I did not feel the unit would hold up to daily usage

We were so excited to get this! However, the measurements were not always accurate. We returned this within a week. Oh well...

The scale itself is good, but it is not easy to use with the app for which it was designed for. I bought two. One for myself and one for my elderly mom which she cannot use.

Scale would not reliably sync. Seemed to only sync when it felt like it. Could never figure out why it wasn't consistent. Purchased the withings pulse at the same time and it had a defective touch screen. 0 for 2 on withings products.

I've had this scale for a month or two now and have used it pretty much every day (I have 4 people tied to it, including my kids). It does a great job recognizing each person, every time. Even the kids where there is only ~10lb difference. I haven't had any issues with it syncing to my phone either.

Wifi was too slow to wake up scale to register weight and other health status. Returned product to store

I really like this scale. I love the app and how it syncs the importation right to your phone. It helps you set goals and keeps track of your daily progress. I gave it only 4 stars is because when you first connect the scale every morning with your phone it takes awhile before you can actually get on it and go through the process on the scale. Other than that I think its a great product.

Love this scale, however, it took forever to pair up when I first turned it on. For whatever reason, it was not pairing up for the first hour or so. I kept trying and it later paired. Other than that, this works great. I love the app that goes with it.

Buyer beware, you may purchase a ridiculously-expensive scale that measures only weight. My husband and I purchased this scale from Best Buy in February 2014. We enjoyed using it for about 9 months until it began giving inaccurate body fat readings. One day my body fat % would show 80%, the next day 3%, the next 25%. No kidding, random numbers each time. It also only occasionally will read heart rate. We tried resetting it but this did not fix the problem. Withings does not offer customer service via telephone. Contacting them via email is not convenient at all. Recently we did begin the back-and-forth email conversation regarding the issue. They concluded that our scale CANNOT BE FIXED. As it has been over one year since we purchased it, the ONLY remedy they offer is a $25 discount on purchasing a NEW scale. Really? There is NO WAY I would purchase this scale again. Yes, we failed to contact customer service before one year was up. However their own scale’s data proves that the problem occurred well before the warranty period was up. While we are stuck now with a very expense scale that records only pounds, we want to share our experience with others who are trying to decide which smart scale to purchase. We cannot recommend this one. You may want to make sure that those giving the scale high ratings have had it for at least several months.

Owned the scaled for over a month now and I enjoy the seem less uploading of data and the accuracy of most offered features on my online dashboard. Heart rate will be measured but at this time it's only successful 60% of the time. It's costly so bugs like this need to be worked out to justify a $150 price tag.

The scale is quite sturdy and accurate. This product is great when paired with other items from Withings. It is neat to have all your health data in one place!

Works perfect! I have an iPhone 6 and it syncs everything to the second I step off the scale. This was well worth the price. It's also VERY easy to setup.

The scale is very accurate and actually weights you each time you get on it, unlike many digital scales that just use the last reading unless the weight spread it beyond a certain threshold. I can hold a book and it measures the 0.2 lbs difference. Love the connectivity to the phone and app. Nice to track along with MyFitnessPal data...

This is the most frustrating scale. I weigh approximately 125lbs. On any given day, when I step on the Withings scale, it might start out saying that I weigh 80lbs, 6lbs, or somewhere in between. I step off, get back on, step off get back on, until it registers close to what I know is my actual weight. As for the heart rate aspect, let's just say when I've had to mess around with the scale for 5 minutes to get it to read correctly, my heart rate is NEVER low! My normal resting heart rate is somewhere around 60bpm. I've changed the batteries, reset the scale etc...It's just not worth the frustration.

I enjoyed the syncing and graphing on my phone, but I had some issues with the body fat percent, most of the time it would fluctuate almost 10%. I tried everything in the online forms without success. The heart rate feature only worked sometimes. The weather updates were awesome. Who really needs an air quality monitor? I think if you would want an air quality monitor a dedicated device that was kept in a more common area would be preferred. Over all it was interesting. It would have been awesome if it worked properly. I returned it after a week
