Easy way to track weight over time, seems reasonably accurate. Scale works well, monitors air quality, prety easy. Heard Withings was just purchased by Nokia.

This syncs with the Apple health app and has a bunch of different profiles for many users. It is a great little tool for people trying to get in shape or get fit.

A lot of bells and wistles, no support

I would like to say that this scale offers more then any other on the market, but to also say it took 4 days of fidgeting and resetting to get it to work the first time and recognize one profile is an understatement. Mostly because I had to watch videos and read reviews on the videos sometimes other reviews to figure out the "tricks." I got it to read and I got it to recognize me and my girlfriends weight but the problem you need a smartphone per profile, I mean really I barely use my base cellphone but to oversight say something as large as that for say a single parent family, do all the kids have to have smart phones also? I would love to figure it out and get it to work but the fact is tech support is only offered through email, so it takes 2-6 days to get a reply. Just really is in a kink phase and things look to be working out but I just guess I rather go through something with a little more thought put in then to have my profile have both our weights. Also the bells don't work all the time.

    Does the job

Really has helped me track and lose weight. Web based app and wireless syncing work fine. Fat % tracking does not work well - measurements are all over the board.

I have been using this device for the last few weeks. I can definitely follow trends in weight, BF %age and heart rate. The weather and air quality analyzer aren't so bad either.

Looks great on paper, horrible problems with scale

I am an IT professional of over 25 years and thought this was going to be a really cool product. I had multiple problems with the scale and also problems with the Withings software/web site. The scale kept switching from pounds to kilograms overnight, the display flipped upside down, it had problems syncing, and the first set of batteries wore out after one week. These were a fresh set I put it when I first opened the box. I tried resetting the device multiple times on advice from Withings and it didn't fix most of the problems I was having. I created a user and ended up with a default nickname that I didn't like. The software wouldn't let me change the nickname. I tried adding a second user with a different nickname and then tried to delete the first user. It didn't work and the initial user kept reappearing with the nickname I didn't like. I finally got the result I wanted, but only after hours of wasted time. The final straw was that the company is located in France and has no telephone support. It took 5 days to get a response to my initial email to them for help. If I could give this product zero stars, I would. I don't expect this from a $150 technology product. I returned it to Best Buy and won't be wasting my time trying a second one. It's not worth the time. Do not purchase this product unless you want a lot of frustration.

Inconsistent and NOT easy to set up.

After 2 hours of trying to get it to work, I quit. Note: I am a geek with an iPhone. In the 2 hours I worked with it it sucked more than1/2 my battery power using Bluetooth! I wanted to use wifi but you can't just do wifi to start and once you choose Bluetooth to get out you need to dig into subnet masks etc. Next, it won't work with iPhone unless your iPhone is on. So in the am, the only time to get a somewhat accurate BMI you need to get up find your phone turn the app on wait a minute make sure scale us paired then get on. Yawn. It would not connect to my wifi yet still downloaded a SW update. It never produced a body fat % other than a manually entered BMI. My weight fluctuated 8 lbs in 3 minutes depending on if I used it on carpet, hard wood or tile.

    ONLY LASTED A YEAR

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!! It is a nice looking device and If you only need the scale for a year than I guess this is fine. I bought the scale without researching it and was troubled when I got home and started reading about it. To be fair after the frustrating time getting it set up and the headaches now and then with losing connection and high battery usage, than I guess the scale worked well as long as you only needed to know your weight. Consistently the other metrics the scale was supposed to measure did not show up and finally after one year and less than a month the sensors on one side quit and the scale was unusable. After a slow frustrating time with customer support, I was told I could get a discount on a new 'better' scale. I replied thank you for your offer but I do not like wasting money on a scale to only use a year. At least they could have offered to repair it and for me to pay the shipping.

Not as good as I had hoped

I did a lot of research back and forth between this and the Fitbit Aria. I eventually decided on this for the extra features such as carpet capability, pulse and O2 sensor. Initial set up was not so great. I am not an IT Tech, but I am moderately tech savvy. I tried numerous times and the scale never synced with my Galaxy S5 or via WiFi. I weighed my self several times and it constantly varied about a pound. Each time it would not recognize the user and would only show weight and CO2/temp screen. Unfortunately I will be exchanging it for the Aria.

Scale not connecting and measures are incorrect

Scale worked fine for 6 months. Then the iPhone app was significantly updated and I started to have problems with the Bluetooth connection. Had to manually pair the device each time I used it. Downloaded latest firmware - no help. Now the fat measure stopped working completely, and the weight is totally erroneous at times by a factor of 4. Tried to contact Withings - they have no phone number and have been non-responsive to web requests for help.

Purchased scale in March of 2015, constantly problems with scale changing from Lbs measurement to stones. Brought this to the attention of Withings, They responded timely to explain my scale was out of wattenty and offered 25% coupon to purchase another scale. Not the response I expected just want the scale to work as expected. Avoid this product.

This product would have gotten three stars due to syncing issues but it's getting one star because it stopped working (always displayed 56 pounds no matter who got on it) after two months. Product support is non-existent. Avoid this scale!
