Go ahead and try it out. You get a cool scale that is very accurate and even tells you body fat percentage. The app will help you track steps along with your daily stats.

This is great for those who wish to track their weight using a smartphone; setup is easy, and after that, just stand on the scale (barefoot) and it does the rest. It is a little expensive considering its function.

The scale seems accurate, as well as the info analyzed. The setup was relatively easy, but needs a strong wi-if signal if using in your bedroom or bath. Had to tweak my wi-if to reach the master bath. The free IOS app could use some work. Not the best design, and not very intuitive. Could use some better number crunching statistics also....

It took me a while to purchase a "Smart" scale as I was looking for reasons to justify the much higher price when compared to a standard scale. I finally decided on Fitbit WS-50 both due to the longer list of features (on product description) compared to other smart scales, as well as due to having less negative reviews compared to some of the other smart scales. Yes, it's true, it appears generally all smart scales have issues and lots of unhappy customers. Overall I am happy with this scale. It was not as easy to set it up for multiple people as one would expect it to work and could have been easier. I was able to setup multiple people, but everyone would receive each others information, and needless to say, not everyone in my family was happy with that! Took some time to figure-out how I could configure the app so each person only saw their own information and no one else's. Fitbit could definitely do a better job of both making the configuration easier as well as to provide better documentation for this. The app is fairly simple, but it works and I have not had any issues with the scale syncing. The sync also happens quickly. The heart rate monitor does not work most of the time, but I don't really care much about that since I don't weight myself immediately after or during a workout. The air quality and weather report on the scale in my opinion are useless. I was surprised that despite being a "smart" scale, it really does not do much more than a standard scale. You get your weight, and it is sent to the app. The app also gets information regarding the number of steps you have taken if you have an Apple Watch (not sure if it works with other watches, but obviously would work with Fitbits) which is nice. Oh, and you can check the temperature, as if I could not get that any other place! I am not sure I trust the body fat and BMI data as they are all over the place and don't seem to really indicate any specific trends. There are also occasional motivational emails regarding achieving goals, like walking a long distance, etc. Somehow, I feel that there could be a lot more that could be achieved with a fully connected device, a mobile app, multiple health sensors, etc, etc. and at this price point. Hopefully Fitbit continues to add more capabilities since it appears the hardware is fairly capable and there could be more that could be done on the app and in the cloud. I had other apps on my phone that only use the data from my Apple Watch and do lots more. I would recommend this device if you're looking for a standard scale, and want to log your weight changes, etc. If you want a lot more, you may want to wait until Smart scales get smarter!

I really like this. I thought it might be overkill but it's interesting to know the air quality in my bedroom. And I like that it senses if I'm throwing my weight measurement off by leaning. Syncs seamlessly with the Withings app on my phone. One of the most helpful tools in my battle of the bulge(s).

This scale was pretty pricey, but it (in conjunction with the Withings watch) has forced my wife and I to lose 30 lbs since Thanksgiving. My rationale was that if I'm gonna spend that much I darned well better use it! It's quite accurate with weight, heart rate, BMI and the weather forecast is actually spot on. We have a pellet stove and the CO2 monitor is very good to know as well as venting can be an issue here in the winter.

I love this scale! Super easy to setup! Easy to use! Bright LED type screen so you can easily see the screen and information. Give weight, body fat, heart rate, and the CO2 information for your home...which i thought was a added bonus and very informative for a scale. Syncs to my iphone app without any problems at all and works with RunKeeper. Couldnt have asked for a better scale

I gave it four stars based on the app and its features when paired with your smart phone. Did not use the add on watch or wrist trackers with the scale. Didn't prove to be accurate enough as a stand alone scale. Not designed to be used on carpet as with any scale. Even though it lists this as a capability.

Replaced an old scale with this one. Love the auto syncing with the web. We use My Fitness Pal and the integration is solid. Added perk of being told the weather while weighing myself is nice. Only reason I docked a star is you have to have an Iphone or Android phone to set it up. This should be necessary.

Great item for the price! Keeps up with weight, fat percentage and heart rate. Easy to set up for multiple users and smart technology recognizes users when they step on the scale. Best part about the product is it keeps track of everything and can be easily accessed through the Withings App.

Short version - We love the scale! Long version - My wife, teenage daughter and I each have our own WIthings profile. When someone steps on the scale, based on the weight of the person, it ID's which user it is and displays the weight, then body fat % or fat mass, then a graph displaying the room temperature and air quality (carbon dioxide levels) over the last 12 hours or so. When you open the Withings app on your smartphone, you get all the data displayed in easy to read and understand graphical form or list form if you prefer. If multiple users are too close in weight to one another and can't be identified, the smartphone app will inform you of unassigned measurements and let you assign those measurements to the correct user for tracking and statistics over time. So far, the only downside we have found to the scale is that the gorgeous gloss black surface gets dirty fairly quickly and must be wiped down with a clean, damp cloth pretty regularly. Otherwise, we have found no downside to the product whatsoever.

I decided to buy this one because of the connection to my iPhone. It does connect and update most of the time, but not always. I wish the display would be larger and show more information. Like based on your weight goal, how long it will take safely and how many calories you can average to achieve it. I wish the screen was larger to show more information at once instead of having to stay focused o. The machine as it rotates through the onformation it does provide. It does not always get your pulse reading. For 100 bucks, I expected better and would have returned it if I had the extra time. I don't hate it, but I don't recommend.

    Fantastic Scale

Wow! This is one fantastic scale! I find the measurement on this scale to be very accurate, and love the fact that weight measurements can seamlessly be transmitted to Withings' Web site, and from there be pulled to other Web sites like SparkPeople.com and MyFitnessPal.com. One interesting feature of this scale is the CO2 censor built in. If you are like me, you probably read that in the feature set and rolled your eyes. However, in practice, this is a wonderful feature! I found that at night, with my room sealed up and the air conditioner on, that CO2 levels in my room neared the OSHA limit! I found that by cracking my door open about 6 inches that the CO2 levels stayed at recommended values, and that I got a better night's sleep! The one knock on it, is that the Pulse reading seems unnaturally high at times, like 90BPM while my other sensors read it at 62. But I think that it is more a function of my feat being less conducive to a good read than most.
