I literally cannot say enough great things about this game. If you like awesome weapons, great weapon/shooting feedback, excellent level design, amazing story, characters you actually want to care about, top tier graphics, etc, etc...then BUY THIS GAME NOW.

Heart-pounding action. Great story. Mucho violence. This game has it all. Love that we can still have a great single player FPS without paying through the nose for Multiplayer DLC.

If you're looking for some mindless fun to unwind after a long day, Doom is the better choice. But if you're in for tight shooting mechanics and a genuinely engaging story, Wolfenstein 2 delivers. I don't remember much from the first Wolfenstein apart from a few scenes, but this sequel is full of memorable levels and story beats. Be warned, however, that it's not a game for the squeamish. The first game was most definitely violent, but Wolfenstein 2 kicks it up a bit further even. So why the 3 stars? I wasn't a huge fan of the frequent returns to bases and then having to navigate to the next person who had my mission. They attempt to pad out the playtime with barebones side missions that have you assassinating commanders in confined sections of levels you've already completed, with very little payoff. Stealth was my biggest source of frustration. The very second you're detected, stealth goes out the window for that encounter permanently. Also, the ridiculously large sightlines enemies have on you from all directions makes it quite difficult to stealth for more than a few seconds before someone calls you out. I would have loved to stealth more often because this game is doable but brutal. I had to lower the difficult to Easy because of how unforgiving it is, and even then, I was still put to the challenge. Overall, I would recommend this for how great the pacing and writing is, paired with amazing levels spanning a multitude of locations. Just lower your expectations going in, and you'll be in for a great time, and excited for the third entry to come out when all is said and done.

Great graphics, lots of action. There is gruesome violence, so enjoy, I am. I did not play the first Wolfenstien, but the intro to Wolfenstien II explains the ending of the first Wolfenstien. So if you don't want a spoiler, play the first one and then this one.

First, I have no idea why the internet went crazy briefly in regards to this game killing the bad guys (review system will not let me type what the name of the group of bad guys is, but they are WWII era bad guys). The premise is simple, the bad guys have done bad things, so you kill them to restore the world to be better than it is under their control. It is an excellent game with a surprisingly good story, but the real fun is taking out the bad guys.

Picked this up at the same time as the Wolfenstein Two Pack of the previous games in the series. Playing them at the same time, and already in love. This sequel specifically though is pretty amazing. Not much into the multiplayer experience, but really into the main single player game. One of the most intense experiences I have ever had with a Playstation 4 game. Absolutely recommended if you are into this genre.

Beautiful Graphics, great story, artificially hard though beware!

Great story telling and gun play. Really hard so play it on easy

The gunplay is really fun on normal and the story is intense and written well. The various weapons and mods also work real well for causing havoc. Unfortunately the levels are still boring grey hallways for the most part and the difficulty system is kind of broken. I play most games on one of the harder difficulties and rarely play on normal not just for the challenge but to get more playability from a game. In this game playing on anything above normal turns what should be a "run and gun" type shooter into a "hide behind cover" and occasionally "peek out" for a shot type shooter. Since your health doesn’t regenerate like in Call of Duty this is a big issue because your supposed to be constantly moving to pick up ammo and health while stealth/shooting enemies. Doom was all 'run and gun' and playing on the hardest difficulty didn’t change that. I played New Order on Uber and was still able to stay on the move for the most part.

This game is hard. VERY hard. I'm also only playing on Normal Difficulty. However, it just makes getting past certain points is so rewarding. The graphics and how the game eventually plays out is beautiful. It's hard to go back to playing other games with how Wolfenstein II sets the bar.

The New Collosus was such a fun game. It also looks so good when playing it on a PlayStation Pro, or Xbox One X. They built on The New Order, and continue to make the franchise strong. Since it’s a FPS, players won’t be disappointed with the variety of weapons, and gun play in the game.

I hadn't played a Wolfenstein game since the original Xbox version of Return to Castle Wolfenstein back in 2003. This game is FUN! A lot of fun. It's refreshing to see a game that focuses on single player experience instead of lightly making a single player campaign and putting more of the focus on multiplayer. The themes in Wolfenstein II are dark but there is fun to be had as the story unfolds. The visuals are brilliant! The downside of the game would have to be the controls since this FPS doesn't feel exact when aiming compared to the other shooters that I play. I had to kick up the sensitivity a lot to find a happy compromise. My other complaint would be that the game has an odd way of having the player pick up ammo or health refills. Sometimes the game picks up them automatically and other times I am required to pick it up myself with the press of the Square button. This is frustrating when you're in the middle of a fight with enemies surrounding you. Overall, I'd say that this game is required gaming. Seeing the premise of an alternate reality where we lost World War II is intriguing while the game delivers a tongue in cheek tone at times.

I can't talk to much about this game without spoiling the story, This is a very story driven FPS. If you played the last one, this is an improvement, and you should know what to expect: a well crafted story, nice shooting mechanics and great graphics.

If you liked the first Wolfenstein you'll be in absolute heaven with this one. Beautiful graphics, brutal Gameplay, awesome weapons, and a badass main character. If you like fast paced, challenging first person shooters you won't be disappointed.

Brilliant game. If you have previously played New Order and Old Blood you wont be disappointed. Great fun to play, what I love about Wolfenstein games is they stay true to original shooters - there is nothing complicated or adversely clever about them. But that is not a bad thing. Like all Wolfenstein games, you can pick it up and play it again even after completing the story - and still have oodles of fun. The gameplay is slick although the occassional buggy moment can occur but nothing to ruin the game. Graphics are good, some nice effects throughout the game, the dark oppressive world - large imposing buildings/dark scary environments etc...this is something Bethesda does very well through the games. If you like shooters this is a must.

The Good Story 10/10 *some experiences in this game are so memorable you will have to applauded the game writers. Graphics 10/10 First Person Shooter fans 10/10 less for those that don't like this style of play.

The action in this game is non stop! The graphics are amazing story is good and crazy! But the action keeps you on the edge of your seat beginning to end! Recommend to everyone who loves shooters.

Better then the first one, if you liked the first one then you'll love the second one. Storyline is great, action is amazing, controllers still kind of suck but you get used to them pretty quick.

Wolfenstein II is more of the first game from 2014, but bigger and better. The new weapons are awesome and the storyline is bat crazy. Intense shootouts are litered across the 10 hour campaign.

These movies in Wolfenstein are out of control! Like a Tarantino movie on steroids. Lots of fun. Game itself is fun but has random difficulty spikes. The weapons and violence is great, though!
