I played the original Version 1.0 of Wolfenstein - what an amazing upgrade.
Graphics are phenomenal! The story is almost cinematic except your part of it.
HIGHLY recommend it if you like 1st person shooters!!!!

Great game, loved the originals. This is a good continuation along a different possible timeline. My only complaint was the ending, did not like it.
Other than that great game-play, graphics and story. Enjoyed the different weapons and upgrades. Challenging to find all of the secret items and upgrades and complete all of the in-play perks.

I have the original version that is too old to play on current computers, so this version is welcomed. The story line and action is really immersive and way too much time goes by while playing. The ability to change difficulty is great.

While I didn't come into the game with the highest of hopes, being a spur of the moment buy, it turned out to be a rather fun experience, mixing in the crazy arcade shooter style of the old games, with some mechanics and gameplay variety of newer shooters. Combine that with a cool alternate history where Germany takes over the world, wiping out nearly all of the resistance, and you have a pretty fun and exciting shooter. Average playthrough is gonna be around 10 hours for a single run, multiple difficulty settings for your own speed and challenge, and there's quite a bit of replayability as there are two alternate storylines for the game itself, giving reason to start the campaign over with a different choice to experience some new characters and get different upgrades and even some new pathways to explore.

The Game is incredibly fun, with an interesting lore. The game has a character you care about and a villain who you cant wait to kill. The gameplay is a big highlight, it has solid cover and lean mechanics, as well as ability to dual wield any of the games amazing weapons. The game runs on Id Tech 5 engine, which meant the graphics (especially the textures) are not that great, but the game makes you forget it all with solid gameplay, amazing soundtrack, and awesome story. Overall this is a great game and its a shame that it is not recognized as well as it should have been.

I'm about 10 hours into the game and I'm finding it pretty fun, with very few bugs so far. The mechanism for picking up items is unnecessarily tedious (hitting F over each and every item you want to pick up), but the gun play is fun. Also, have found several homages to the original Wolfenstein3D. I'm running it on an Intel i7 with 970GTX video card and 16GB RAM with all settings maxed out, and the graphics are really smooth and beautiful.

For the most part the story line was good, suspenseful, and fulfilling. It had surprises and difficult levels that I thought I'd never beat (on the hardest level). However (spoiler alert) it's a shame when he doesn't get to run off with the nurse and "live happily ever after". I played the first wolfenstein, this wolfenstein and the next one if they come out with another! Bravo to the writers and designers!

So ive played fps games since the first one on pc, which happened to be wolfenstein! Ive watched the genre go from keyboard controls to mouse and keyboard and move to consoles with controllers. I feel this game stays true to the original with modernized graphics. While playing the game i got the wolfenstien and doom feel that id software gives in these titles. Has an arcadish feel to it and what reminds me of the original is the way the items and armor pickups you find. The storytelling is told through cinematics and is narrated by your character as you play each level. Graphics are up there with any of the newest fps titles out there if you have a good gaming pc you will be in for some eye candy. It woulda been nice however to see a multiplayer mode but the creators have also stated they wanted to put extra time into the campaign and make it that much better. Doesnt bother me because i knew what i was getting before i purchased!

I have been playing this game since it first one came out back in 1992. It was awesome then and it's even better now! The story is excellent, graphics are amazing, and overall experience is absolutely wonderful. The best game I have ever played. If you like first person shooter, you would love this game.

Loads of fun...lots of weapons. I have always loved ID software's products: Doom, Wolfenstein, Rage, Quake, etc... They have not let me down...ever.

BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front) - It's a great game and worth the price. I know it's a lot shorter than some people would like but if you compare the time it takes to complete to an equivalent time in a movie theater (not the dollar variety) then you absolutely get your money's worth. The story is fun and engaging, the graphics are excellent, and if you let yourself get immersed in what is offered it is quite satisfying.
Note - This is a mature game aimed at mature audiences. There is a good deal of material that I wouldn't recommend for my kids, so parents should choose wisely.

Old school shooter

Another reboot of an old franchise, this time the story revolves around the Germans winning World War II and our favorite hero BJ Blazkowicz waking up from a 14 year coma-like state to take on his old enemy that has taken over the world. The gameplay is good enough to keep your attention throughout and you have some cool perks that you can gain (stealth, tactical, assault, and demolition) throughout the game which comes in handy. The AI is a bit predictable but if you love the old school shooters where you could just run and gun the whole time, you'll enjoy this game.

Single player FPS games are rare these days, usually half-hearted efforts in order to promote a multiplayer arena. Wolfenstein is different, a reminder of the good old days, with solid level design and fun gunplay (unlike the recent Bioshock Infinite, another modern linear single player FPS). Performance can falter on AMD cards, so be wary.

Didn't have any issues getting it to run properly as I've seen a lot of reports on (core i5, EVGA 650 ti, 8 GB RAM). Runs fine with maxed out video settings. I'm not sure why it specs for an i7, but I can verify that it was NOT needed for me (i5-4440).
I wish more games would focus on single-player instead of multiplayer, I don't have the time to invest to be competitive in online gaming so I generally just play single player games.

Great "reboot" for an old franchise. While it does technically build off the last game, this behaves like a totally new game, outside of a few recurring characters. Weapons are great, game is fun, and story is solid. Some gameplay mechanics could be better, or some attempt made to separate from the pack of FPS's already out there. Regardless, very satisfied with my purchase.

The premise of the game is intriguing with the Third Reich winning the WWII conflict. Some outstanding level design, particularly in the sequence taking place in a train wreak on a bridge. Numerous weapon and technology upgrades are possible beyond the scope of WWII state of the art.
Includes is a cute retro version of the original pixelated Wolf for non-GPU PCs.
A must for Wolf fans.
