Don't expect any groundbreaking game-play, but Wolfenstein: The Old Blood delivers similar weapons, stealth, and enemies that you saw in Wolfenstein: The New Order. If you enjoyed defeating hordes of enemies in The New Order, you won't be disappointed with The Old Blood.

Wolfenstein: The Old Blood is a stand-alone prequel to Wolfenstein: The New Order. It was released on May 5 2015 for PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4. The prequel is set in 1946 and contains two missions called "The Dark Secrets of Helga Von Schabbs" and "Rudi Jäger and the Den of Wolves". The location of the game is Castle Wolfenstein in the German Alps. New weapons include the pipe, the bolt rifle and a handy grenade launcher. "Wolfenstein: The Old Blood" contains occult and supernatural elements, as well as many references to the older titles. Despite this, the so called "supernatural" elements are heavily implied to have a mundane scientific explanation

Its a decent prologue companion to the previous game, New order. Apparently I'm not allowed to describe whom I fight in the game. Even though it's in the game description. Ridiculous.

I'm a long-time fan of Wolfenstein (since DOS admittedly). This game is disappointing. The gameplay wasn't very stimulating but nowadays it's hard to find games that break the norm. (Think Black Flag). For $19.95, I wasn't expecting much anyhow.
