This is a older movie that we had not seen and was delighted when I was able to purchase it from BestBuy at a good price and my wife really enjoyed watching it and am looking forward to watching again anytime we want.

Well acted production. The main characters were artfully portrayed and came across as real people, who had both strengths and flaws. This movie is appealing because it is based on facts...facts that are accurately presented. The story itself is a serious drama, and yet there are enough depictions of humorous actions and comments to lighten what could have been a somber story. The conclusion elated me! I enjoy movies that end happily and give hope. I definitely felt better after watching it.

I don't know the story behind the movie, but I did recognize the painting and whether it was historically accurate or not I was very moved by the movie and now would like to get more background to see how accurate it was. If you have a hard time with World War II movies, this one does not show a lot of violence. It deals more with the injustices of what was done to the Jewish people.

Im a huge Ryan Reynolds fan, so I was very excited to hear about him in a movie with Helen Mirren. The movie is a unique story of past and present. I have to say it was told perfectly. The flashback scenes to the war, were the best parts. Tatiana Masalany (Orphan Black) was fantastic, and her scenes really brought some suspense to an otherwise normal paced drama. Good Bonus features included as well. Definitely worth checking out!

Justice can be hard to come by when you have to fight the "system" and red tape of the government. This movie shows regardless of the outcome right is right and to follow your heart when it is driven to correct an injustice, no matter the outcome. A true story and must see, if you believe in "justice".

The production quality of this movie is excellent in every way. While the story is factual it is highly entertaining and the ending is very satisfying. The Blu-ray version of "Woman in Gold" is a "must have" for serious collectors of well-made and well-acted motion pictures.

Ryan Reynolds & Helen Mirren give solid performance. Interesting bit of history. Knew about the Germans stealing Jewish art in WW2 but did not know about this personal story. A woman who wants her family art back & a lawyer who at first is reluctant to take her case.

We like to buy BluRay sets that include DVD and Digital versions so we can watch using any of our currently-owned devices. This set was BluRay and Digital Copy so we got two of the three versions. The movie itself was was good, and we enjoyed it and the history of the story. I am not sure why it didn't receive better reviews. I am glad we didn't skip watching it.

I felt this movie was an excellent portrayal of not only the way Jews were treated during WWII but also a very accurate portrayal of the story. I loved the way they interspersed flash backs with the current timeline events.

Women in Gold is a must see movie. The acting by all is superb and the story line helps us to remember what the Germans did to Europe in the 1930's and 40's. You will be delighted with this movie and feel good at the end.

An excellent movie for those who like watching people go up against impossible odds and never quit. This true story shows what some people will sacrifice to continue the fight for justice and for the truth!

What a remarkable story! It was very moving with some lighthearted moments and dialog delivered perfectly by the amazing Helen Mirren. Definitely a story that needed to be told!

I saw this movie at the theater and knew when it became available on Blu-ray that I would purchase it. The movie is entertaining and educational - based on a true story.

This is a great movie, with great acting, and history at the start of a button. It was well worth the money, and the time spent watching it. I also loved the costuming.

I enjoyed this movie because of its historical facts. Helen Mirren and Ryan Reynolds were fabulous in this movie! It's a keeper and I'm glad I bought it! :)

Helen Mirren is great in this movie. Ryan Reynolds is not his usual character in this movie, instead he is more serious, and has an excellent performance.

Personally, my expectations for this movie were minimal, however it exceeded my expectations & it turned out to be a good movie in a my book! Nothing I would go see in theaters but definitely worth the shot to rent it or purchase it!

Anyone who Google's the painting will know the outcome of this movie however the history of what happened and how they were stolen is amazing

This is a movie that I recommend to anyone who's into the Jewish history after World War 2. This movie keeps you going all the way through.
