Love this thing. Set up was a little bit of a pain, but has been great after we figured it out. Lots of things to do, can change voice, colors, and easy to control. Has games that unlock a series of different controls and program sequences. You can have further control once they learn more.

Bought this Robot for my daughter. It requires and app to work. My daughter is using an iPad. I teach programming and this tool is one of the best ways to expose young kids to technology and programming and robotics. These are the jobs of the future and so it’s good to get a jump start on it. You can program the robot to talk, make turns, shine lights, etc... I like to challenge my daughter with random courses throughout the house. For instance, I might say. I want to see the robot start at the front door, make its way to the kitchen, circle the island, flash it’s lights, and then return back to the front door and say hello. successfully programming tasks like this will require about 1-2 hours of work for a youngster (5-7). Older kids might complete sooner but I would add more advanced courses for them. This is all stuff you can do within your home. Again, this is a fantastic learning tool and should be a required course in elementary school. Hopefully one day that will happen!

Though it requires a level of skill to explore and try different stuff in mobile App of this robot but it turns out to be a great learning toy for kids .

This is a great way to get kids to be introduced to programming and easy to use. Just be aware that you need a smart phone or iPad to operate it or program it. Easier if you have an iPad rather than smartphone.

This is one of the best learning toys available. There are a variety of apps available for iOS that will introduce kids to programming concepts. Kids as young as 3 can get some fun out of this and it definitely has something for kids even at high school age. You can create much more advanced challenges using this like navigating an obstacle course automatically. This is a great way to get kids interested in computer programming.

Purchased for a Christmas gift for my autistic grandson. Had fun programming it so when he opened it, it wished him a Merry Christmas by speaking his name and dacing around..

My 9 year old daughter loves this thing. She hasn't finished the walk through yet but she really likes being able to setup the strings of code/actions and watching Dash do what she told it.

This is a great platform for kids to start learning the basics of programming. It is easy to use and quite sturdy for some rough handling. The interface is easy to understand and you can get the bot doing some neat stuff pretty quickly.

I learned of Dash through our kids' school. Great way to teach coding and creative thinking. Should have purchased it during Black Friday sales when I first saw it instead of waiting for pre-Christmas 50% markup...

The Dash robot was easy to setup and program. My children have been spending hours trying different was to make it move and do things.

This was a Christmas gift for my two boys, ages 8 & 10. My youngest just learned about coding this school year, so the Dash Robot was a great opportunity to put his new skills to use. My 10 year old found it to be user friendly and is attempting to program Dash to spy on his sister. Both boys were very excited to show off the newest member of the family to friends and family members.

This is a perfect gift for kids, they love controlling the robot and learning to program him to do things as well. Easy to learn and really fun!

Playing with this toy teaches kids how to program a robot. Develop algorithms etc. The programming interface is similar to scratch.

Great for my 3 and 5 year olds (with assistance). Will be able to play with these for years as they grow older and more capable!
