Better than FFXV Cute and Balanced

    Posted .

I enjoyed this game more than Final Fantasy XV which I also gave a good score (4/5). The story was well written, even if it comes across as standard fantasy story telling. I loved the humor and light tone for the majority of the plot and the humor had my wife and I entertained regularly. Read the mirage summaries you will not be disappointed. Combat was a nice mix and casual enough for a first timer and complex enough for micromanaging. I normally dislike games where you have large amounts of characters to choose from but the nestalga keep me from not wanting to pick up another mirage.

    A Fun Game

This game is so amazing!! I haven't felt this way about a FF since i played FF 7 8 9 and 10. it has great combat, amazing visuals, lots to do and a turn based nostalgic system. the story is okay, its not the greatest, and can get a little to cute at times, but its soul is very pure and keeps you going and liking the characters. I highly Recommend this to any one who wants to play a fun JRPG and any one who is a huge fan of FF. This game has decent end-game content to extend the total playtime as well. I had fun and would get World of Final Fantasy 2 if they ever decide to make one.

Great for FF and Pokémon Fans

A great tribute to past Final Fantasy fans. As your to main characters travel through familiar locations and meet characters from past games. Game that goes back to the tried and true turn based battle system. All while getting to catch familiar monsters from the final fantasy games. It gets a little too cutesy at times, but never too much. It's a fun enjoyable game that will put a smile on your face.

    Worth the money

So everyone talks about the decade long wait. Nothing is really worth waiting ten years on. BUT this game is really good and very polished. It is built for fans and newcomers as the opening line of the game will tell you. There is an option to do Active-Wait so it's not always super fast paced hack and slash. Strategy is still a thing and you generally can't faceroll all content. I am very happy with the direction they've taken since i didn't enjoy any of the FF13 series.

    Goofy and Fun Fan Service

    |
    Posted .

This game is pretty well straight fan service aimed toward those who've played a good deal of Final Fantasy and like the pokemon-style collection RPGs. It's nothing too original, but it hits the right nostalgia notes to keep a FF fan entertained during its 20-something hour campaign and extra hundred hours of uncovering secrets and collecting better allies.

    So much fun

I didn't expect to like this game as much as I did. I ended up going for the platinum trophy, something I very rarely do. Very well made, so many party set up choices, great collection of FF titles mashed into one game. They rereleased it with more stuff, so get that edition instead.

Great game for Final Fantasy fans

This game its a fairly standard pokemon clone the only difference is your collection Monsters from the various Final Fantasy games. Lots of heroes from the series make an appearance. If you like Final Fantasy I recommend checking it out. If not you might still like it but it wont be as cool since you wont have a basis for the characters represented.

    Chibi Fun

    |
    Posted .

World of Final Fantasy is a fun side game that you can play without taking to serious. The game feels like a mix of Final Fantasy and Pokemon. You can have up to 4 creatures fighting with you at a time. You must level them up and unlock their skills/status. If you reach certain points, you can unlock their next stage/form. Outside of a few characters in the game, almost everything is in chibi form.

    Good game!

World of Fantasy takes different characters and elements from different, past Final Fantasies and combines it to this game. Overall, it was fun and enjoyable; not the greatest game, but I would recommend it on sale.

Pokemon + Final Fantasy = World of Final Fantasy

Do you enjoy pokemon? Do you Final Fantasy? Good! This may be the game for you! The characters are different, the story makes fun of itself while being dark in some areas. Battles aren't that difficult. However, it's very fun, and is a good entry series to the FF series.

Must Buy for the Final Fantasy fan!

Ok let's start off by saying if been a fan of the series as long as the rest of them. There are installments I love, and those I hate. This is just all round fun. Awesome nods to veterans but still great for those new to the series! A fun touch of that Pokémon-ish feel but on a different base. If you don't mind the grind to get all the mirages, it's super satisfying. Would recommend

Great game for the classic FF fans

    |
    Posted .

World of Final Fantasy is pure nostalgia for longtime fans of the franchise. I still prefer turn based over real time in my RPGs outside of Kingdom Hearts, Tales of, and Star Ocean. The evolving aspect and seeing classic characters return like Yuna, Tidus, Cloud, Celes etc and I can't wait for the Sora dlc to come.

    Fantastic

Typical FF game but with a tad of a twist. Doesn't have the detailed graphics as all other FF games in series, instead this game has a compound team play type of style. You must make different combinations of both players and animals to compile the best duo(s).

    Cute game

This game goes back to the older styles of Final Fantasy with the turn based combat. It adds a stacking mechanic.. It is great for those who prefer that style. The game is adorable, but I do feel the game is a bit slow, even with the fast foward button. Overall, it is great for fans of Final Fantasy.

Fun game, but didn't finish it.

Enjoyed the start of the game but really don't like the stacking system (especially the enemies). The story was ok, and the pacing was not bad, but I just didn't feel like I was advancing my characters as I went. I ended up switching to another RPG before I finished the game.

It's not the next final fantasy phenomonon, but is hella fun to play, and is safe for kids to watch as well. Has a sorta pokemon feel to it and has all your favorites from past Final Fantasy games.

    Very cute, lots of fanservice

    |

This game oozes fanservice, if you're a fan of the series you'll find tons of things to feel nostalgic for. The gameplay may lack the depth of a flagship final fantasy title, but it's still pretty solid and enjoyable, very reminiscent of ni no kuni or pokemon.

Did not expect much from this game. It come out right before FFXV and to many this is a real final fantasy game since its turn based. Its really fun has a similar system to pokemon the way you catch things. Cool game over all
