Purchased for my 8 year old grandchild. Some difficulty with it responding to her voice but overall good product

ChiP is a great companion alternative to a real dog. Highly recommend for kids or adults Christmas gift!

My daughter liked it but lost interest after a couple of weeks. It didn't always recognize her 7 year old voice but would recognize an adult.

Overall, we like CHIP. We find her easy to use and plays a lot of different games. We found the watch to be a little large for a 6 year old.

My kid likes it. I found the directions wonky, and also found that I had to turn it on and off to get it to be more responsive.

We ordered this as my son's main Christmas gift. He is allergic to cats and dogs. So, this was a pet replacement. (Plus, we have parrots and do not want a real predator in the house). The wrist controller would not work. We took it back to Best Buy for replacement but there were none in the area. So, the store had to have one sent from California. Before we left the store, they wanted to make sure the new wrist device works. It didn't. The store had to have a new one shipped from the Midwest. Again, they check it to make sure that it worked before we took it home and it did. My 7 year old son was originally thrilled to get this. However, the broken wrist component caused him to lose his enthusiasm quickly. It lets you change the name (my son chose "Zippy") but it seems like you still have to call it "Chip" to get a response. So, it loses some of the "magic" in changing its name. This does not have as many games to play as Cosmo but it is bigger and has the feel of a dog. In fact, both my husband and I felt like we were taking the dog back to the pound, because of the broken wristband. My biggest complaint to the manufacturer beyond fixing the wristband would be about putting some fake fur on this to make it more cuddly. Hard plastic is not fun to cuddle with and watch a movie.

This toy is cute. Makes my grandson feel as if he has a real dog to play with as his dad does not want to get a real dog

Daughters got this for Christmas. They are having a great time with it. Easy to use and train.

My kid loves this robot dog. This is a fun play toy. I may have to get another one for her playmate.

This lil thing is awesome!! I recommend it for all parents who want to keep their little ones entertained and to train the kids on how to take care of a pet.

I got this for my 6 year old daughter. She has lots of fun interacting with him and he can do lots of different things that keeps her engaged and entertained. The watch band did not work, but customer support has already shipped me a replacement.

Bought this for my niece 3rd birthday. It says ages 8 and up, but I expect an 8 year old would get board with this pretty quick. It doesn't perform very well on carpet. She seems happy with it and cant wait for Chip to grow up into a full grown robot dog.

Chip keeps my daughter loves it! It keeps her entertained for hours. Would recommend this product to anyone!
