I'm a nursing student, and I bought this to protect my watch from bumps against walls and equipment. Didn't even know how many things I bumped a day until I bought this and my Apple Watch lol

When I purchased my iWatch I knew I wanted some sort of "case" to protect it. This edge case has been great, very sturdy, adds a little bulk overall but I knew it would. The only negative is it sits below the face surface, so it offers no protection if you knock the watch at an angle. My wife has a surface screen protector, but because the edges are so rounded it's tiny and sits in the middle of the face. There doesn't seem to be a good solution for total protection.

I was looking for a guard for my Apple Watch after a couple of bumps. The X-Doria fit the bill in cost, size, and construction. Most of the bump guards were either cheap plastic or latex, or were monstrous additions that took took away from the Apple Watch's sleek design. The X-Doria is aluminum and well constructed. My only issue is that the reviews mentioned that because of its snug fit, it can fall off. This actually did happen, but it was from a bump - protected the watch - and I was able to put it right back on.

it really helps to protect your investment. I lost my first the next day I ran to Best Buy and brought me another.

I purchased the gold only because it was on clearance. It is more of a rose gold than yellow but it's great! It definitely edges up the sports version of the Apple Watch that I have. I am eyeing the red and blue too once they are on sale. Great product!

The defense edge case is easy to on and remove if needed. The gold color give the watch a different looks. It provided the needed protection as I often bang my watch to objects. It looks great and provide great protection.

I was looking for something to protect my new 42mm Apple Watch, but didn't really want all the huge bulk of the G-Shock type cases. I didn't want some cheap rubber bumper either. This is a wonderful blend of affordable protection that doesn't make the watch look too big. The gold with my Space Gray looks absolutely killer. The case cover is open on the front and back and offers sufficient coverage on the sides and corners. It installs in 5 seconds and sits nice and snug. The rubber inner protects the case, and the anodized aluminum outer shell gives it the toughness. The scroll button is blocked on the bottom side, but really is not a problem. I love this thing. I'll be getting a couple more in different colors.

I bought this help protect my watch from bumps and scrapes that I can't predict or keep from happening. It was easy to apply, it looks sharp as an accessory, and it doesn't make the watch too bulky.

This case looks great! Very easy to clip on and come off when needed. I thought it might be bulky, but I hardly notice when it's on. Definitely adds protection to the watch.

The Defense Edge Case is a VERY easy to apply outer protector for the Apple Watch. Installs in under 10 seconds and does a great job protecting the sides of my Apple Watch. I work in a very hands on field where most of my watches take impact from various sources so I wanted a good solid protector. It is a bit bulky once you first put on the protector but after a few days, you dont even notice.

Pro: Easy install/removal. Bumper/Corner protection. Color looks great. Con: No top screen protection. Price too high for what you get. Can get in the way of the dial at times (rarely). Overall: I'd recommend this if you're active and afraid of bumping your watch (which can easily crack the screen). However, there are so many options out there, I'd find something around the $10-$15 mark instead.

This is a pretty good product and probably worth buying, with a few caveats. It is a simple item (product info says metal although it feels like plastic) and is lined with a softer material to prevent scratching the watch. The price seems high for what it is, but all of these watch accessories are overpriced everywhere. You must make sure you buy the correct size for your watch (the Apple watch comes in two sizes) - there are other reviews saying it did not fit well and fell off. I would bet money they bought the incorrect size for their watch. The shell is lightweight and I didn't really notice it made my watch feel bulkier. It does however make it LOOK bulkier, probably because it creates a visible frame around the watch so you perceive it as larger than it really is. It provides good protection for the edges of the watch and the digital crown, but don't expect it to protect the actual screen too much. I highly recommend a screen protector, just like a phone.

The X-Doria Defense Edge Case adds a stylish component to your already stylish Apple Watch. The different colors gives you an opportunity to change up the color scheme of your watch to match your outfit. The case also provides some protection from bumps and scratches. I really like it! My only problem is that sometimes the case can come off a little easier that I would expect it to. Other than that, it's great!

I am an automotive mechanic and I purchased the Apple Watch to increase productivity by saving me time. Naturally it is of the most use to me if I wear it all day so I needed a case for it. This case is very well built and looks very nice. It has protection in all the right places and I haven't damaged my watch yet. It is easy to put on and take off but I rarely remove it.

After paying for an Apple Watch I wanted something to add a little protection for my investment. The X-Doria fits the bill perfectly. Not only is it easy to install but looks great and the price is right. Because the watch bands are so easy to interchange i pared it with a red band. Intend to buy a blue band and a blue X-Doria for another great look.

It works as advertised, completely protects the outside of the watch. But unless you regularly slam your wrist into things, I'm not convinced this is needed. If your old watches are banged up, by all means buy this. But if they aren't, only buy it if you like the look.

I reviewed a few bumpers for the Apple watch and set out to purchase one of those from Best Buy when I ran across this bumper. I liked the silver finish around the edge so I gave this a try. I like that it has a rubber inside so I feel it won't scratch my watch. The crown is protected from bumps because the bumper is flush with the crown. It's still easy to press and turn. The button cover over the other button is very responsive and easy to press as well. I really like the look it added to my watch. I have the space grey Apple Watch Sport. I've had several complements on my watch and another Apple Watch wearer thought I had the Stainless Steel Apple Watch. I don't think it looks that similar though.

I currently have two different types of bumpers for the watch. This one is by far the best looking. Snaps on easy and does a great job protecting the sides of the watch. I wish it could of been a little taller to protect the screen more but it still does its job.
