I purchased this unit for the whole family for Christmas to use with the Connect. I went shopping on Black Friday and Best Buy store was out of the Connect and XBox Sold as a package. I ordered this unit OnLine and refurbished. I did not realize that I needed a "hard drive" in order to enjoy the Connect. I have since ordered the hard drive, but so far, with the limited use we have had for the unit I am relatively satisfied.

The X-Box is making a loud noise when the game cd is inside. I know it was refurbished, but I would think it was checked out before re-selling.

There are better 360s out there and for only a little more than this price. This xbox has an extremely small hard drive, preventing you from being able to download features (like netflix and espn) because there is not enough room on the hard drive for all these things. It performs basically like other 360s, and it worked fine, despite being refurbished. Basically, invest a little more and you can get a much better 360.

RRoD after 2 months. And I only play less than 5 hrs/week due to my school. Warranty is only good for 3 months. And you cannot send it back to Microsoft because they already tampered w/ the machine. I just got the 2nd machine from Nuko but the new one is always overheating (2 RRoD) every couple minutes playing. Will try to contact them again... Suggestion = Save more money and buy the slim one... Never ever buy refurbished XBOX 360....

-Won't read any discs of any kind-CD, DVD, and XBOX 360. -The controller has faulty joysticks. I feel gypped if two weeks in it no longer reads discs and came with a damaged controller.

I use the 360 a lot is just like getting a brand new one.

Reviews too harsh, great alternative to full price.

I've only had my 360 for around 3 weeks now. In my opinion this system is not worth getting. It was having issues the first day i got it. It did work well for the first week or so then started having more and more issues. Currently my xbox doesent read any of my disks and actualy put a large scratch in one of them. This system is not worth what i paid for it...

It was an awesome xbox 360 but it worked perfectly but now it's not working at all!!!!! when i turn it on it went on red..

I bought this XBOX to replace my one that died. I hope this one works longer.

For a refurbished console it works great! The graphics are not so good if you don´t have a HDMI TV.

I pick this unit to replace my son's RROD xbox. It looked like a good price and seemed like a solution to replace the broken unit. The first unit I received was defective. It worked for about 15 minutes before it too experienced the RROD. Contacted the repair company and got a replacement unit. They were very helpful. But the new unit also has issues. The DVD drive makes an very loud noise when not playing a game. Don't really want to go through shipping it out again and waiting for the turnaround time to get another replacement. But I would not advise purchasing this product either. Stay away.

I got the refurbished Xbox for my son for Christmas. It worked great, over the holidays, then got where it wouldn't read any discs. I was a bit upset until I took it back to Best Buy. They let me return the unit and gave me a full refund. The guy in customer service was an expert at customer service. I was amazed at how enjoyable the whole experience was. I own a computer services company and shop at Best Buy a lot, for the convenience and usually for the good prices. I will add exceptional customer service to that list.

I bought this for a Christmas gift (when they were on sale as the Deal of the Day). Unfortunately, the xbox was RROD immediately causing great sorrow. I have never had trouble with BB refurbished items until now, and am rather shocked that this one got through inspection. Fortunately, Microsoft is great with product support since the return date had passed. Will be getting another xbox 360 from MS and will be very careful before I buy any more refurbs from BB.

After about four days after it arrived, the console had some fatal errors. It's disheartening that the company charged to refurbish these consoles could do such a poor job, if any job at all. I will say that the return process wasn't entirely challenging. Hopefully I receive a console in proper working condition.

Very satisfied with product. Would recommend to anyone wanting to just replace a console without spending alot to replace everything.
