The Xbox is hands down one of the best gaming consoles I’ve ever owned. The graphics are incredibly sharp, the performance is smooth, and the loading times are super fast. Whether I’m playing online with friends or enjoying single-player games, everything runs flawlessly

The Xbox Series S is a great budget console with fast load times and smooth gameplay. It’s small, powerful, and perfect for digital gaming, especially with Xbox Game Pass. Storage is a little limited, but overall a great console !

I bought this Xbox Series S for my son because he wanted one for his college dorm, and we didn’t want to take the console we already have at home. This model is more basic, but it has worked perfectly for him. Xbox is always reliable, the size is ideal, the storage is great, and he can play his games without any issues. He also uses it to watch YouTube TV to follow all his sports games. Very recommended.

Amazing product. Arrived faster than originally quoted. Price match policy is amazing and it actually comes from BestBuy instead of other stores that ship you consoles from 3rd party vendors. Only downside is storage capactiy but if you have gamepass, it eliminates the issue. If you have the money, play +4 "large" games at once (2k, Warzone, FC, etc.) and don't want gamepass I would recommend splurging for the series X. I'm maxed out on storage with Madden 26, CFB 25, Avatar, and 2k25, but now using Gamepass I use the cloud for everything else plus the additonal games and just have Madden saved for max performance.

The Xbox Series S is a compact and powerful console that offers a fantastic gaming experience at a more affordable price compared to its larger counterpart, the Series X. One of the standout features of the Series S is its design; it's sleek and modern, making it easy to fit into any entertainment setup.
In terms of performance, the Series S delivers impressive graphics and fast load times thanks to its custom SSD. While it has less storage than the Series X, the ability to expand storage through external drives helps mitigate this issue. The console supports a wide range of games, including many from previous Xbox generations, which is a huge plus for gamers looking to enjoy a vast library.
Another highlight is the Xbox Game Pass service, which provides access to a massive selection of games for a monthly fee. This makes the Series S an excellent choice for gamers who want to explore different titles without committing to individual purchases. Overall, the Xbox Series S is a great option for those looking for a next-gen gaming experience without breaking the bank.

Xbox works great. Easy to use and very fast. I would recommend buying directly though Best Buy as I had issues with the Xbox I ordered unknowingly through the third-party marketplace.

The Series S may be the little brother of Microsoft’s line up, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s not perfect for you. For the average gamer than does not need the best of the best, this beats any console out there. The power it provides in conjunction with the size is incredible. This little machine was made to game. No, you can’t play all AAA games at 4K 120FPS, but that’s not what this was made for. It was designed for the average person to enjoy, not for the pixel-peeping refresh rate enthusiasts. It’ll play all games the Series X will, maybe just not as pretty or smooth. Most people don’t even own a TV or monitor that match the potential the Series X can offer. It’ll play games, surf the web, and consume content all day long all in a footprint that’s a fraction of the size (and cost) of the competition. Looking to get into gaming for yourself, your family, and/or your kids? Look no further.

I have the series x, but it is a bit big for travel reason. And this xbox does everything i ever needed from the series x, but its compact size is what made this purchase amazing. Its compact size allows me to take with with me on plane rides, and keep it on my carry on. So i dont have to worry about it getting lost or beat up.

My son was very excited to get a new Xbox with such a fast speed. He enjoys playing Minecraft and Mortal Kombat and it works really well for him! 10/10!

Everything about this console would make it a 5 star if the parent company wasn’t so greedy and horrible. Great price, great UI, compact and quality design/build- all around a great console experience. The downsides are just as substantial though. You have to spend the money on the premium version of the console to use your back catalogue of disk games. You cannot redeem your previously purchased disk games and have to buy them again digitally. I love the ease of use and quality of digital downloads, just wish there was a way to use all of the other games I own without buying them again or spending twice as much on the premium console. It is also deeply unfortunate you have to purchase a wired headset OR an Xbox branded/approved wireless one. It is unbelievably frustrating that we’ve reached a point where accessories are proprietary/limited. I have also gone through 4 Microsoft controllers in 2 years. They get plagued with stick drift or the headphone jack breaks. My final gripe is the price of storage/requirement for external secondary storage. All of these are another example of shareholders being prioritized over consumers (the only reason the company has success).

I love how lightweight and slim it is. It allows me to navigate from room to room easily. My games load really fast, way faster than my Playstation. I only took off one star because compared to my other consoles even my Xbox series X. This series S gets hotter and gets there fast at that. So I purchased a fan immediately.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first unboxed the Xbox Series S — it’s tiny, minimalist, and almost looks like it’s playing dress-up next to larger systems. But honestly? It’s been one of the most pleasant surprises I’ve had in a while. The Series S punches well above its weight class. Even though it doesn’t have a disc drive and runs at 1440p instead of native 4K, the boost in load times and the smoothness of gameplay have been incredible. Titles like Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite feel fluid, visually clean, and crisp for what this hardware aims to do — and that’s deliver modern experiences at a great price. Quick Resume is still one of my favorite console features; switching between multiple games feels like flipping channels rather than loading them.Of course, you won’t hit 4K here, but that’s not really the point. The Series S targets solid performance at 1080p–1440p beautifully — and with supported games running at 60 FPS or higher, it feels modern and responsive. Ray tracing and texture quality aren’t flagship tier, but they’re good for a console in this price range.Tiny console? Awesome. I slipped it next to my TV without a single cable wrestling session. The controller feels familiar in all the right ways, and Xbox Game Pass continues to be the best value in gaming right now. Seriously — Game Pass turns this little box into an instant library powerhouse. For players who want next-gen feeling without next-gen pricing, the Series S is a home run. It’s not a visual showcase, but it’s fast, consistent, and genuinely fun.

When I picked up my Xbox Series S 512GB All-Digital Console from Best Buy, and the entire experience was smooth from start to finish. The in-store staff were knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely helpful—they made sure I got exactly what I needed without any pressure.
As for the console itself, it’s a powerhouse in a compact design. Setup was quick, load times are insanely fast, and games run incredibly smoothly. The all-digital format is perfect if you prefer downloading your library instead of dealing with discs. It’s quiet, efficient, and delivers next-gen performance at a great value.
Overall, between the excellent customer service at Best Buy and the performance of the Xbox Series S, I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

Amazing. So easy to set up, memory hasn't been an issue (however I'm just a girl who loves her minecraft + other small indie games haha). Effortless set up which I really appreciate as someone who knows nothing about consoles. Definitely smaller than you'd expect, but it packs a punch! Doesn't seem to get loud, and hasn't overheated at all either. Loving it!

The Xbox Series S is a compact, budget-friendly next-gen console that delivers fast performance, smooth gameplay, and access to hundreds of titles through Xbox Game Pass. It’s all-digital with no disc drive and has limited storage (512GB), but it's perfect for casual gamers or those who want great value without needing 4K graphics. Sleek, quiet, and surprisingly powerful for its size.
