Hello to whoever’s lucky enough to get this email—because it’s mostly good news about some great employees… and, well, a little feedback on a couple who could use a reminder about customer service.
I’ve been shopping at your Tacoma, Washington location for a while now, and for the most part, everyone there has been fantastic.
Sam deserves a serious shout-out. When I first came in, I knew nothing about laptops. I’m what you’d call a “high-maintenance customer” — not a jerk, just a guy who asks a lot of questions. Sam has been incredibly patient every single time. I only buy from him now. He’s helped me with my laptop, mouse, keyboard, monitor, phone, phone case, printer, and even an Xbox. He even helped me apply for a credit card — I didn’t get approved the first time, but this time he got me set up with a $2,000 limit. Not bad for a guy who used to look like a dirtbag on paper!
Nick is another one who went above and beyond. One time I had my whole setup — laptop, mouse, and a big-screen monitor — spread out on the counter. The first guy there didn’t seem too interested in helping (I’ve heard he’s great with computers but has the personality of a wombat). Nick stepped in and was fantastic. He spent over an hour helping me out and got everything dialed in perfectly.
Riley — she reminds me of my niece, which is a compliment. When I came back to pick up my laptop after the update service, she was super helpful. She and Nick made sure all the extra setup I wanted got handled. I’m not “Johnny Computer,” so I appreciated the patience.
Now for the part I wish I didn’t have to write: the last time I was in (this past Tuesday), I purchased my Xbox and printer using my new Best Buy credit card. I accidentally left my mouse behind and came back the next day to pick it up. The Geek Squad area was slammed, so I approached the other side of the counter after standing infront of the girl at the counter for a maybe a minute . Noticeing she was not active doing much but standing there.. could not see her name tag it was covered with thick black hair and a blond male there. I asked if she could grab my mouse from the other counter, and before I could even tell her they’d labeled it with my name, she just pointed and said, “You have to go there!” just 4 feet away to help she was doing nothing . no customers on the shipping side of the counter.— then walked away. There wasn’t anyone available at that counter, so I had to wait about a half hour just for someone to grab it from the back.
I’ve been in retail for over 30 years, and I’ve seen good, bad, and ugly — but that was easily one of the rudest, laziest interactions I’ve seen in a long time. To make it worse, she walked over to the kid and started saying things about me as the young male looked , right at me. Not a great look for a customer-service job.
All that said, your Tacoma store has some excellent employees who truly make the experience enjoyable — Sam, Nick, and Riley deserve real recognition. They represent the kind of patience, professionalism, and people skills that keep customers coming back.
Best regards,
Billy

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 — “The Ultimate Console Experience”
I’ve been using the Xbox Series X for over a year now, and it still feels like a powerhouse. The performance is lightning fast — games load in seconds thanks to the SSD, and the visuals are stunning, especially on a 4K TV. Everything just runs smoother and looks cleaner compared to older Xbox models.
I really appreciate how quiet the console is, even when running big games like Starfield or Forza Horizon 5. The Quick Resume feature is a game changer — I can switch between games almost instantly without losing progress.
Game Pass is also a huge plus. Having access to hundreds of games, including new releases, for a flat monthly price makes it feel like an incredible value. I’ve discovered a ton of games I probably wouldn’t have bought otherwise.
The design is sleek and modern, though it’s a bit bulky if you’re short on space. The controller feels familiar but improved — better grip and smoother triggers make a big difference.
Overall, the Xbox Series X is easily the best console I’ve ever owned. It’s powerful, quiet, and future-proof. If you care about performance and convenience, it’s worth every penny.

The Xbox Series X is an impressive powerhouse that truly delivers next-gen performance. The fast loading times, smooth 4K graphics, and overall stability make gaming incredibly immersive. Game Pass remains the biggest advantage — offering hundreds of quality titles at a low monthly price, it’s hard to beat in terms of value.
The console design is simple and quiet, fitting easily into most setups. However, the user interface can feel cluttered at times, and some exclusives still lag behind PlayStation’s lineup. Despite that, the Xbox ecosystem — especially the seamless cross-play and cloud gaming — shows Microsoft’s clear vision for the future of gaming.
Overall, the Xbox Series X is a must-have for players who value power, convenience, and access to a massive library of game

Amazing system. Best gaming purchase possible. If you have been playing Xbox for a long time, the XBOX X Series is a great upgrade. Quick load times and install times are quick as well.

I recently bought the Xbox Series X and the experience has been excellent. The console is very fast when starting games and switching between applications. The graphics look amazing and the performance is very smooth, especially in optimized games. I was also surprised at how quiet it is even during long sessions.
Integration with Game Pass is a big plus because I can try many games without having to buy them one by one. The storage is good and the option to expand it makes it even better. Overall, I am very satisfied with the purchase. Totally worth the investment.

The first one I got the box was slightly scuffed up, I joked with my spouse saying watch it not work since we waited for so long for it to get back in stock. Well, I got home and it just kept popping up error during set up. So we immediately went back they switched it out. The employees apologized a bunch then got the other one to us quick with little time on conforming the switch and the reasoning. Second one has been working great since we got it! Purchased in-store.

I used to own an Xbox One X and some people will say that it was close enough to the Series X that it wasn’t a worthwhile upgrade since these are expensive and hard to get. Well let me put those claims to rest. While, yes, this console feels very similar to the One X when you fire it up, once you get into a game, it’s a whole new experience. One of my favorite games from last gen is Forza Horizon 4 and even though you could do 4K30fps and 1080p60fps on the One X, being able to do 4K60fps on the Series X makes it feel like a completely different game. The speeds that this console operates at are truly next level. One of my all time favorite games is the original Star Wars Battlefront II. I have that game for the original Xbox and it works on the Series X! But it works exceptionally well. It’s scary fast. I swear, I spent a collective 3 months of my life waiting for that game to load when I was young. The loading screen barely appears before the entire match is already on your screen with the Series X. It’s so fast that the loading screen is almost a flash on the screen. Of course, younger me is furious at how fast it is, knowing how many times I would just get up and grab a drink or a snack while it was loading. But older me has to start planning out the drinks and snacks before even turning on the console because the days of long loading times are gone, and that makes me extremely happy. It may feel like an Xbox One at first glance, but let me tell you, it is nothing like an Xbox One when you start really comparing speed and graphical quality. Pair it with an Elite Series 2 Controller and you’re in for a great time. Worthwhile leisure investment, 100%.

I appreciate Microsoft for allowing the Series X to be reverse compatible with legacy games. I recommend to buy the console with the disk drive. My only complaint is that the legacy controllers are not compatible. The graphics also pop out nicely. 4 out of 5 stars

Picked up the Xbox Series X from Best Buy and so far it’s been a win. The setup was like butter!
What really stood out to me was the Best Buy employees: the sales staff didn’t just ring me up, they actually walked me through storage options, explained the warranty terms clearly, and patiently answered all my “first console” questions. Felt way more confident buying, thanks to that human touch.

From someone who was originally planning on getting the ps5 I missed out and instead settled on the Xbox series x. I planned on getting this eventually but not until later in the year however this console is a great system for both new and existing Xbox fans. First thing first the setup is quick and easy all of your games you purchased from the Xbox one era are available to download and play on your new console right after the setup. I was surprised to see all my games I bought from the Xbox one show up immediately after I set up my condo. For those uninformed the series x can play a limited amount of games from the original Xbox from 2001 and Xbox 360 it can also play every single Xbox one game as well it also loads every game at a faster rate so you’ll be spending less time in a loading screen and more time gaming. The quick resume feature is amazing and by far my favorite feature of the console. It lets you switch between up to 5 games at a time without going through in game menus. For example you could be playing Halo 5 and decide you want to play GTA 4 (an Xbox 360 game) you’ll switch to gta 4 and if you decide to return to halo 5 you’ll continue right from where you left off. The console is also capable of displaying games (that allow it) at 4K resolution and 120fps if you have a tv that supports it. If not the console still works on a standard 1080p or 720p tv you just won’t get that premium image quality and smooth gameplay. I would recommend buying this over the Xbox series s as the series x is more powerful and will run games way better than the series s but if you are on a budget the series s is ok as well but do know that it does not have a disk drive so you will only be able to play digital copies of games instead of both physical and digital. Gamepass is also a great feature if you are just joining the Xbox brand as it gives you access to over 100+ games that you can download and play all the way through. Games are added and rotated out on a monthly bases some games stay on for years others get removed after a few months. Think of it as a Netflix for video games. I recommend getting gamepass ultimate as it gives you access to gamepass and Xbox live gold which give you access to online multiplayer titles. Gamepass ultimate is 15$ a month but for new members you can get it for 1$ for 3 months and pay the 15$ once the 3 month period is over. If you just joined the Xbox brand and have no games to play gamepass ultimate immediately erases that problem as you can play 100+ games spanding from Xbox 2001 to the Xbox series x/s generation. If you are lucky enough to get your hands on this console get it it’s a great console with a lot of consumer friendly benefits for new and returning players.

I purchased an Xbox Series X as a replacement to my aging Xbox one. Overall I have been not just happy but impressed with the responsiveness and loading power of the new console. Games take seconds to load into as opposed to minutes on the old console. Adding to that the fans are virtually silent. The interface itself is nearly identical to the xbox one yet everything feels sharper and more refined. A nice aspect of the series X is its backwards compatibility. Though this console is cutting edge I still maintain the ability to play with friends on older consoles, this includes my girlfriend who I gave my Xbox one to.

For those who are considering between the Xbox Series X or a PS5, I feel that I can write an unbiased review, because I own and enjoy both consoles. While, I enjoy my PS5, the Xbox Series X is one of my top 5 favorite gaming consoles that I’ve ever owned. The user interface is sleek, fast and easy to navigate. Gaming performance is on par with top of the line gaming PC’s. The unit itself is quiet, and can be sat vertically or horizontally. Streaming games, via Microsoft’s GamePass, is usually a great experience, and even when streaming a game that requires peak performance, the console is still relatively quiet and never hot to the touch. At first, I wasn’t sure that I’d like it’s shape, because it is a rectangular tower, but it fits pretty inconspicuously into my entertainment center, positioned behind the left corner of my TV so that its disk slot is still conveniently accessible for when I want to play physical copies of my games. I love the feel and grip of the controller. One of my favorite aspects of the new controller that’s packaged with the console is that it has a textured grip and triggers, which is a feature that is seen on many premium 3rd party controllers. I’m happy that the console has 1TB of space, as a lot of these triple-A titles are massive in size. It’s been a close to two years now, and I’m still very happy this console.

Ive been a playstation fanboy all my life! Ever since my first playstation 1 when i was just 4.5 years old! I was just blind and convinced that i will be sticking to my pc and playstation ecosystem for another generation, and that xbox will still be cool but not for me. After the past year with recent jaw dropping announcments and amazing xbox exclusives i just had to get my hands on the series x and finally get into the xbox ecosystem for once. And i gotta admit i love my series x more than my ps5! The gamepass is just a big freaking WIN for microsoft and xbox! And the power of the series x has is just mind blowing! And out performes the ps5. Not to mention that the series x comes with a native 1tb with seperate storage for system software and updates so you never run out of storage unlike the ps5 that has 1 storage for the entire system, so you only end up with like 600gb at the end if the day, which is about 4-5 games. In conclusion, if you manage to get yourself a series x go for it! Do not hesitate to try and get one. But if you dont mind the performance and storage penalty then the series s will give you the same experience and is much cheaper and easy to get. Seeing the series s in hand i can confirm that the average joe that just want the key to next gen gaming without spending much and not caring about performance will enjoy the series s just as much as the series x. But if youre hardcore like me and will notice the difference, then this is it!

I purchased my Series X on December 2nd, 2020 last year. I've had it for over 7 months now and I still love it and play on it as much as i did the first day. Microsoft is absolutely killing it this generation which is why i switched from ps4 to the Series X and i couldn't be happier that i did. The Next-Gen features this Xbox has such as Quick Resume, which lets you have multiple games open and play between them in a matter of seconds. I use this feature every day. A growing list of games that have Auto FPS Boost and Auto HDR, which makes games look and play amazing! Playing a game that was once 30 fps to now 60fps is so awesome, especially the games that are boosted to 120fps! It's an absolute game changer. Game pass Ultimate is a must if you have an Xbox. It's too good of a deal to pass up, it's perfect with the Series X. Games load incredibly fast on the internal SSD of the Series X it'll make you realize how much time was wasted waiting for games to load last gen! The new contoller is a nice upgrade from the previous model. It now has a textured grip on the back and triggers which feels great to play on while gaming for long sessions. I truly am enjoying my Series X and the Next-Gen features it offers, it's only getting better from here too, with a lot of Xbox exclusives coming soon this year like Halo Infinite, Forza Horizon 5, and many others, all day 1 on Game Pass! You won't be disappointed going with the Series X this generation.

The Xbox Series X has completely transformed my gaming experience. From the moment I unboxed it, I was blown away by its sleek, modern design and whisper-quiet performance. Microsoft has truly raised the bar with this console!
What sets the Series X apart is its unmatched power and speed. Games load in the blink of an eye thanks to the ultra-fast SSD, and the graphics are absolutely jaw-dropping. Titles like Halo Infinite and Forza Horizon 5 run buttery smooth in 4K, with vibrant colors and lifelike detail that fully immerse you in the action.
I also love the Quick Resume feature—it’s a game-changer for multitaskers like me. Switching between games is seamless, and it feels like the Series X is always one step ahead. The backward compatibility is a huge bonus, letting me revisit classic games in improved quality without missing a beat.
The controller is another highlight. It’s comfortable, responsive, and has just the right weight. The tactile feel of the textured grip and triggers makes long gaming sessions even more enjoyable.
The Xbox ecosystem is better than ever with Game Pass. The value is unparalleled, offering a massive library of games right at your fingertips. It feels like there’s something new to explore every day.
If you’re on the fence about upgrading to the Series X, don’t wait—it’s a console built for the future of gaming, and it’s worth every penny. Whether you’re a hardcore gamer or a casual player, this system delivers an experience that’s nothing short of spectacular.

I wasn’t expecting much when I picked up a used Xbox—but wow, was I wrong. From the moment I plugged it in, it felt like I’d stepped into another world. The console booted up smoothly, barely a whisper from the fan, and before I knew it, I was deep into Xbox game pass, flicking through games like I was unstoppable.
Despite being pre-owned, this Xbox has clearly aged better than me. The controller? Still snappy. The graphics? Still sharp. And the hard drive came with a few leftover games that were basically a bonus treasure chest.
Gaming sessions have become the best part of my day. It's fast, reliable, and surprisingly clean (I have seen some markings to show it was used). But this console? No regrets. Just pure, pixel-perfect fun.
So yeah—It might not be new, but the memories I’ll make with it? Those will be legendary. All thanks to Best Buy!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Well I would have never thought that I would be owning an Xbox Series X in my lifetime. (I’m 65 yrs old but feel like an 18 yr old playing these games ) And i’m glad that this being my first Xbox that I made a very wise decision. I haven’t played any video games since Mario Bros came out for nintendo 64. Quite a few years ago for sure. The graphics and action that this Xbox puts out is unbelievable. Fast rendering and smooth scrolling is beyond anything i’ve ever seen or played on. Also one thing that I enjoy is the fact that with game pass in the Xbox Live that I can play games at a minimum monthly fee. My all time favorite right now is F1 2020. I love all types of racing but this one knocks it out if the park. Finally i’d just like to say is that if you can get your hands on one of these bad boys. Be prepared for a lot of lack of sleep, You’ll be glued to that screen all night. I know that I have been.

The Xbox has been an amazing upgrade for my gaming setup. The load times are almost instant, and games run smoother than ever with the quick resume feature. The graphics are sharp and realistic, and I love how quiet the system is compared to older models. The controller feels comfortable for long gaming sessions, and having Game Pass gives me access to a huge library of games without spending extra. Whether I’m playing solo or online with friends, this console delivers a top-notch experience. Highly recommend for both casual and serious gamers!

If you loved the Xbox 360 (minus the red ring of death lol), you’ll LOVE this console! It feels like the true return of Xbox to the greatness of gaming that it once was. I own the Series X and PS5. While I love both, there is no denying that I get way more value and use out of the Xbox. The SSD in the Xbox is in practice almost as fast as the PS5’s (barely any noticeable difference, and definitely none in the games). PS5’s SSD is much faster on paper, but I just haven’t seen the significant benefits of it over the Xbox yet. Maybe we will one day, but I figured we would have seen at least some significant advantage in that deparment for the PS5 by now, but we simply have not. Xbox Series X beats the PS5 in power everywhere else though. The only places where PS5 beats the Xbox Series X in hardware specifications is the SSD and the Wifi 6 card (although my PS5 is always lagging, so I don’t see any advantage here for the PS5 at all. My Xbox hardly ever lags connected to the Wifi). I’ve found the Xbox Series X to have way less frame stutter than the PS5 as well. Additionally, games are starting to look and perform better on Xbox Series X compared to PS5 as well, although it took about a year (at least it’s finally happening, though, and that should be the trend going forward!). The Xbox also has better features than PS5 (the UI is better functionally, quick resume is amazing, and playing with friends is a lot easier on Xbox). The DualSense controller for the PS5 is nice, but the new haptic feedback and adaptive trigger features slowly faded away for me over time. They are nice features though, and I do hope that Xbox implements them in future iterations of their controllers. I don’t find it to personally be a dealbreaker. The PS5 DualSense has better controller features, but the Xbox controller is much more comfortable to use for a long or short period of time. All in all, the Xbox Series X just cannot be beat for features, friends, online connectivity, GamePass (incredible value, entirely optional and not necessary to have in order to love the Xbox), console design, controller comfort, and all around fun factor. If you can only get one of the consoles (Xbox Series X|S or PS5), as an owner of both, I highly recommend the Xbox!

Best console i ever owned.
plays blu rays, 4ks, dvds, CDs, xboxOne and SeriesX games.
supports up to 120fps and 4k.
i upgraded from a xboxOneS to this and my rank in RocketLeague went from stinky Plat to Diamond2.
Gamepass is a must. its like Netflix. 10 or $15/mo to get access to a library of 500 games. new games are added every month. most xbox exclusive games are on the subscription. the brand new ones are put on there the first day theyre released.
great system.
you could also download emulators to play old nintendo and PlayStation games on it. theres a YouTube about that.
old xboxOne controllers work on it.
yeah, great system.
such great value.
best console i ever owned.
best value in gaming.
