To be honest, I wasn't expecting too much from this story. I've played a few JRPGs and they all seem to blend together with their generic storytelling. This game however is magnificent! It is an investment, as the game is very long, but even the more mundane parts are entertaining. You experience great storytelling with a cast you actually can get attached to. If have some time to embark on a great story driven journey, this game is a keeper.

Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition is the visually upgraded version of the Wii classic that many missed out on, including myself. I was looking forward to playing the first installment in the chronicles series.

Very lengthy JRPG, HD version of dated Wii game. World design and music is very good but character models and design feels dated. Lots of side quests to spend time on

The reason i gave it a 3 star is because i didn't get my game in time (at launch) even though i pre order it the moment it went live. Im pretty upset i got it 4 days later but can you do in a situation like that? Anyways the graphics looks a lot better than xenoblade chronicles 2. The battle system is a bit different and unique (and fast paced) compared to XBC2. So far i put in about 15 hours into the game and im having so much fun exploring, doing quest, fighting strong monsters above my level. There's an option to tone down the difficulty at any part of the game if you have difficulty winning battles. Overall, this game is awesome would recommend.
